Ward learned during the last fight to not let Kitty land that kd punch again, and learned his style......then Abel and crew would have some negotiation leverage in the Canelo negotiations (he can fight Ward) because Ward says he would come down to 168. A Ward win (see what I did there?) would benefit Abel.
kessler held ward as well. maidana held floyd. every john ruiz opponent held him. they just couldnt fight on the inside against them.

If Kovalev/Ward was a wrestling match (which it wasn't), what the heck was Klitschko/Fury? In fact what would he call Klitschko last 5 or 10 fights.

I don't think Sanchez has any credibility any more. They should stop asking him questions.

nice retort. but it misses my point, that a Ward win would be more beneficial to GGG. Which could be a reason Abel would say something like this OR he believes Ward would WIN again, it wasnt even a split decision, it was unanimous for a guy coming up in weight and fighting an undefeated power punching top 5 p4p champion.

I promise I was thinking the same thing! I remember watching the video of Abel saying he thought Ward won the fight. I guess now he's changing his mind SMH. That's why I don't pay attention to anything Abel says.

So if Abel's word is gospel that Ward wins a re-match, then surely it's gospel that he says Kovalev won clearly and that Ward wrestled?

GGG fans aka PAC fans aka Krusher fans about to turn on Sanchez, never mind they got Beterbiev to pin their hopes of knocking Ward off of the no.1 spot in the sport.

I'm curious why is a Kovalev fan automatically a GGG fan and a Pacquaio fan? And why if you hate Pacquaio do you hate GGG for instance?

Could it be they don't come from a certain place or have a certain ethnicity?

Speaking personally I've always hated Pacquaio and GGG though I like him (I'm a Boxing fan) isn't exactly my favorite fighter. Not sure why this correlation seems standard.

Gotta agree with what Abel is saying this time. Ward is really, really smart and would know how to fix what he did against the Krusher.

i had both ggg and kova winning the fights for 1 point , both fights could have gone either way so no robbery claim from me, but i firmly believe that ward and jacobs will win their rematches, both closed the fight stronger and will pickup from there in the rematch... they wont show the same respect for their opponents power like they did early in their fights..
