A few months ago, veteran trainer Abel Sanchez was very vocal with his belief that Sergey Kovalev did more than enough to defeat Andre Ward last November at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Sanchez, best known as the trainer of IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, was ringside for the fight and watched Ward get off the floor in the second round to win a twelve round unanimous decision with three cards of 114-113 from the judges.

That's a damn honest answer with regards to the first fight and the outcome of the second (if).

I think he said Kovalev learned to fight like that from him, so he should get credit if Kovalev beats Ward

Abel phoning up NSB all shook, "dudes, I need to make a statement, been reading about Ward and something about 168...!?"

Yeah, he's probably right about the 2nd fight. Maybe Kitty attempts to fight on the inside, instead of grabbing SOG over 70 TIMES. Maybe he'll be so mad, he'll try anything to get to Ward. Ward learned during the last fight to not let Kitty land that kd punch again, and learned his style......then Abel and crew would have some negotiation leverage in the Canelo negotiations (he can fight Ward) because Ward says he would come down to 168. A Ward win (see what I did there?) would benefit Abel.

Ward is not known to be this way, but if he started playing the catch-weight game he could do some damage.
