I find the excuses about Tyson's 'prime' one of the funniest in boxing. According to casuals Tyson's prime lasted 5 years from his debut & surprisingly ended when he fought guys who had some talent or weren't terrified of him ala Michael Spinks.

I'm not ripping on Tyson by the way, he was deadly but wasn't the best ever and struggled with top guys. The notion that he'd beat any heavyweight in history in his prime is widely spread idiocy among casuals.

Tyson's prime didn't last long because of his wild lifestyle - not training right and getting into booze and ******* - so there is actually some truth in the bolded.

honestly, I've read the dumbest **** on here. Casuals have very basic opinions, "this guy could beat that guy," it's nothing crazy tho and you can tell it doesn't consume their life. On here we have fl0mos that support 7 minute videos about the strangeness of Pacquiao's glvoe in the Shane Mosley fight...I'm just saying, when it comes to dumb ****, the "hardcore" crowd has taken that torch far and away.
