If he ain't ready now he'll never be ready. I don't want to see him fight bums. I didn't want to see him fight an interim bum while he waited on Kell. I rather my favorite fighters fight twice a year against good competiton than 3 bums a year and one decent opponent.

This is the same guy that just spun a fight his best boxer probably lost into "I'm glad we got some rounds in, we needed a fight that went the distance."

            I get it.

If he says what everyone else knows- that Spence is going to hurt Brook like no one else has- that would be admitting how ordinary his hyped guy is. That would make us remember that he took 5 rounds to get rid of a guy that had no business in there in the first place.

What is he going to say after Errol lays Kell out? That Brook "needed a nap?"

If Spence had fought at least one or possibly two (highly doubtful) more times after the Bundu fight then I'd say the timing would have been perfect for him. But he's been inactive longer than Kell has. One point I do give to him is he obviously looks like he's been active in the gym. Hopefully ring rust won't be an issue, but I still take Spence in this fight.

Also, weight fluctuation is a *****, and sometimes adversely affects boxers abilities to take punches well. I think it will still be a tough go for Spence, but he's on a roll, and Spence has that live dog in him.

He dogged Thurman, too, against Garcia.

Sanchez doesn't care much what he says.

Spence/Brooks will be a great fight either way. I've got Spence.

GGG team needs Brook to win this fight, if he doesn't it will make GGG's win over Brook even less impressive, especially if Spence ko's Brook in a better fashion. Plus you add the struggle with Jacobs this past weekend. Some of his criticism is unfair but when you're marketed as the fighter other fighters are scared of then you will be judged for struggling. The only question is, how does Spence handle his biggest fight to date in hostile territory? Can't wait to see the outcome of Brook - Spence hope it lives up to the hype.

I'm not sure about his durability, but except for that I like Spence.
