Sink or swim, hate it when trainers get their fighters on a bum tour before testing them, it's refreshing to see a young hungry fighter like Spence going to the lions den to take the belt away from the champ. If he was trained by Sanchez they would be cherry picking and claim everyone is ducking him. He is the mandatory which means he is ready now!

" but problem is 666 aint got no defense"....
Well "he got" some defense against Jacobs doe.......right?
All the BS aside check out the fist on Spence! Young man has some "hamhocks" there. Impressive healthy looking hands. Even knuckles and huge fists. Hands are very important to a power hitting fighter. The impact can destroy a weak hand over time.
This is a good match up, both are to be commended for accepting the challenge.

Tough fight to say exactly what is going to happen. A lot of different intangibles and questions. I'm on the fence with this one because no one knows how Brook is going to respond after the beating he took. Plus he struggles to get down to 147. I expect Brook to box on the outside and hit and move and tie up. If it goes 12 rounds I'm pretty sure they will give it to Brook, unless it's blatantly obvious that Spence won every round. If it's an 8 to 4 or 7 to 5 type of fight for Spence, they will give it to Brook by decision. If it's 9 to 3 or wider Spence will get it. I'm speaking of how the rounds look while we are watching and scoring. Or a knockout may happen. A lot of intangibles. I think it's probably going 12 rounds though.Last edited by The Time; 03-28-2017, 05:03 PM.Comment

Well we find out! Salute to Anthony Joshua, Spence Jr and others from that Incredible 2012 Olympics Class (Loma, Uysk already considered the best in their Divisions) for not spending 10 years knocking out weak opponents before Step up competition! Those guys should be Saluted not talked down upon and told "They're Not Ready" then we complain about guys who come up too slow and cry how "They need to step up competition" then when they do "They're Not Ready" so which one is it exactly.
We Find Out in May if Spence Jr is ready or not!Comment

That's the problem with a lot of fighters today. Spence has 21 fights and yet there's people who believe he's not ready to take on a legit contender. There's fighters who are still taking tune ups because fans say they aren't ready but yet complain when they do. Floyd took on Chicanito Hernandez and Manfredy for his 18th and 19th fight, but yet all these fans and trainers expect fighters to take on tune ups well until their 25th fight. Either you're ready or not, it took Brook 10 years to step it up in competitionComment

Got Spence to win this one, you don't fight at 160 and come all the way down to 147 without losing something, Brook will find that out the hard way.Comment

Spence is criticized for not having a big enough name, needing top level fights. As he is trying to do just that, they use it as an excuse to not fight him. The kid has been trying to pay his dues, and is hungry for a title.
He KO'd Bundu when Thurman couldn't. He KO'd Algieri when Pacquiao and Khan couldn't. (Khan barely won)
He is ready. There must be a reason why he is favored, and Brook tried every possible avenue to get out of the fight. Brook has one big win, and that was even questionable. (Porter) The GGG fight was a money grab.Comment
