You guys throw around "taken to school" carelessly..... a competitive fight is not taking someone to school.

When someone gets taken to school I think Hopkins vs Pavlik or Floyd vs Marquez or even Golovkin vs Lemieux..... not Ward vs Kovalev and not Pac vs Marquez, hell not even Floyd vs Pac, even though Floyd clearly won.

For some of you winning the fight is taking the other guy to school and it's laughable. Learn what that term really means and when it should be used.

Show me 2-3 rounds that ward won that weren't close rounds. If you wanna say the guy won, fine...but how can he school someone when it was razor close for the half of the fight he allegedly won? Landing a few flush jabs that snapped kovalev's head back or walking him into a handful of shots, doesn't equal a schooling...especially when the same stuff was happening to ward, and he got dropped and dominated a few rounds. You can't pretend the first part of the fight didn't happen if you wanna give ward credit for something he did in the back half of the same fight...you have to look at it as a whole. In that sense, you could say kovalev schooled ward...but in reality, it was just a close competitive fight.

One of the judges came out and said he made a mistake on his scorecard and PAC should of won, to me it was the clearest of all the fights for PAC he had Marquez becoming bffs with the canvas the lead was insurmountable.

Anyone who said Marquez beat Pacquiao in the first match doesn't know how to score a fight.

First round was 10-6

Second round was easily another Pacquiao round

From the third round, marquez was down 5 points, he had to fight a perfect fight to win, winning every single round and he didn't fight a perfect fight. Yeah he took control of the fight and won more rounds, but Pacquiao won by points.
