Yeah but even Stevie Wonder could see that happened.

The point is, Sky will often fool their viewers because most don't know what they're watching.

They spouted out at some point that Linares is top 5 P4P. Also they made out like Crolla had been beating elite fighters. They made out like Barroso and Perez were top level fighters and Crolla beat them, despite them just being fringe contenders....but most of the viewers don't know that and believe it.

They also tell people the crowds are going crazy for Katie Taylor when in fact everyone can't wait for the fight to be done. That's not knocking Taylor or women's boxing, but you can just see nobody is bothered. Sky are trying to push her as this superstar and nobody cares.

I know they have a product to sell, and trying to sell fighters and fights to the public but they go way beyond that to the point it's just pure lies and deceitful. It's almost like it's become more accepted to do that now. People have gotten used to the mainstream news just making up whatever they want at times, and now that's filtering into sports broadcasting and other things.

The whole sky crew are a disgrace to British boxing commentary. People like Adam smith, johnny nelson!!! I really can't stand them two especially those two.

They pretty much had no choice on that one, even a blind man could see Crolla was getting a beatdown.

Malignaggi is the only sensible one, providing informative commentary and is usually the most neutral one.
How on earth can someone have such a short term memory about Jim Watt?

Nelson is fine imo, not sure what people's issue is with him. But Froch and Bellew are a complete joke, everything they say seems like its either to get attention or trying to make themselves seem more humble than they really are.

Everything Adam Smith says is just a forced narrative and Nelson is the biggest blagger working as a so called expert.
Watch some HBO, PBC, Showtime over here. You guys indeed have some lameoid commentators, but we have some real derelicts in the States.

Usually if I find a sky sports stream I'll look for another unless Paulie is calling the fight. Ain't no one better than Manny Steward calling fights but we have to make do without him now. Kellerman is by far the worst, the Sky team don't even run him close.

i think they just suck. jacobs wasnt the british fighter but they were creating a narrative that wasnt happening when they gave the first 3 roudns to him when ggg easily won 2 of them.

                  That was BoxNation

John Rawling and Barry Jones are not the most exciting or articulate commentators but they're a lot more honest than the Sky crew so for that reason I prefer them. And I love me a bit of Buncey too

Woodhall and McIntosh are the best British commentators in my opinion. Maybe a little boring for some but they have a deep knowledge of the game at all levels and are fairer than most. McIntosh's over-the-top verbosity is good for a laugh sometimes too

That was boxnation and they have a deal to televise Golovkin's stateside fights so why would they need to create a narrative against him? Maybe they just saw something different. Not much happened in those first 3 rounds.
