Stevenson ducked first when the fight was right there. You say money I say fear. By the looks of his competition I'd say I am right. He has fought nobody since Dawson his biggest win since is Fonfara. He is even ducking his mandatory Alvarez to fight another bum. The guy has become the joke of the divison. Kovalev would KO Stevenson and he knows it.

Canelo might have improved a bit but he's only looked good against guys he's meant to look good against. Lara is the only guy he fought since the Floyd loss that could move and take advantage of Canelo being flat footed and Canelo arguably lost that one too.
While it's 100% true that Floyd schooled Canelo horribly, it is also true that Canelo was a semi-corpse, drained as heck at 152, he worried more about making weight than actually training to prepare for a clinch-galore and all sorts of defensive trickery courtesy of Floyd.

And to boot, Canelo was too "green", too inexperienced. Had he fought Lara and Cotto before Floyd, and had the fight taken place at 154 or 155, I am pretty sure the story would have been different.

TODAY, Floyd IS NOT "levels and levels" above Canelo. Floyd now is somewhat old, past his prime, not the same reflexes at all. And to boot, he has been out of the ring for a while. Canelo is big and strong as ever, WAY STRONGER and more accurate than when they fought. He also looks faster in his combinations. He is also way smarter as a boxer than he was vs. Floyd.

Bottom line, this time CANELO WOULD GIVE NO RESPECT TO FLOYD like he did when they fought, I'd bet on that. He'd go after him relentlessly, like Maidana did. Maidana did hurt Floyd on several occasions (same as Manny did as well. Manny being smaller, shorter, way shorter in arm reach than Floyd), and both Maidana and Manny are way smaller than Canelo and it is a fact that they don't hit even close as hard as Canelo. And I believe that NOW Canelo is more accurate as a combination puncher than Manny himself.

If they fought say at 155, it would be a completely different story than their fight years ago. If that crazy idea of fighting at 160 happened, Canelo would send Floyd to the hospital, he would only need ONE clean punch to do that. And believe me, HE WOULD connect THAT punch in way less than 12 rounds.

        .
Floyd barely clinched in that fight. He just schooled Canelo and backed him up whenever he wanted also. Canelo got hit with an uppercut at one point and retreated to the ropes and looked like he didn't want to fight anymore. If Floyd had any killer instinct, he would have probably stopped Canelo there and then.

Canelo's team were the first to suggest 152. Also the week of the fight, they were saying 152 will be better for him because he'll be quicker etc. As soon as he lost, he was drained.

Canelo and his team thought Floyd was old and ready to be taken out, i'm sure of that. He hadn't looked great against Cotto, Mosley had him rocked and Guerrero wasn't much of a test. They thought a young fresh strong fighter like Canelo would be there to finish Floyd off and build him as the new superstar and it backfired badly.

NOBODY wants to see that again besides Oscar and the only reason why Oscar wants to see it again is because of the MONEY

I wrote "PREPARE" for a clinch-fest. I never mentioned that Floyd did it (a very. VERY RARE exception to his normal fighting style). He didn't need to, because Canelo had his most pathetic performance ever, in that fight.

And excuse me but no. Floyd would never ever had stopped Canelo. Had he started trading with him, he would have been KO'd. EVERYBODY and I mean that, EVERYBODY who has fought Canelo has "backed him up," at least once during the fight. Mosley, Trout, Cotto, Angulo, for God sakes even Josesito, at 2-3 divisions lower than Canelo backed him up more than once. CANELO GETS TIRED frequently, and lets himself get "backed up" to the ropes, by everybody he fights, so he can take a breather on the ropes. The only one who didn't do that I believe, was that coward Lara, who got on his bicycle once he got hurt by Canelo's body punches. It is an evident stamina issue he has. NOBODY has been even close to hurt him when he does that. Then, after a minute or more, he regains some breath, throws some hard punches and easily backs the other guy down, in seconds. HE DID THAT TO FLOYD more than once. and to everybody else. But evidently you didn't see it. I did. The only one who had a chance to KO the other in that fight, was Canelo, not little Floyd. But hey, to each his own, if you think he could or he can KO Canelo, you have your opinion. Floyd couldn't even hurt little Manny, despite being way bigger than him. He was two or three divisions bigger than JMM and he couldn't even KO him, yet his fans applaud that shameful performance of a Floyd 100% in shape, IDK maybe 12-15 pounds heavier than a totally out of shape JMM who looked like a bloated super-featherweight fighting a muscular welterweight. He couldn't KO small out of shape JMM and yet you claim he could have KO'd Canelo. Yeah, right.

But I think Oscar knows Floyd is done and only comes out of retirement for a circus fight payday with McGregor. Oscar throwing an olive branch for a Floyd payday as a jab at K2. Telling them sign now because canelo has tons of big fight options if you don't. Canelo could rematch cotto, chavez, fight Lemieux and now even fight Floyd if you want to screw around with June fights and continue pricing yourself out.

This is all about messing with Loeffler LMAO
Hey Big Dummy how is that so funny when most boxing fans think connello is the biggest duck in boxing right now. Funny how he called him in the ring and gave up the Wbc belt two weeks later. trolling as usual. Wanabe boxing fan.

                Really

Wondering what makes DLH think that this time would be any different for Canelo? I mean the first fight was borderline embarrassing for Canelo

All these promoters have been lost since Floyd retired. They used to just say his name a bunch to hype up their fighter, now without Floyd, these guys have no idea how to actually promote anyone. Floyd messed it all up, he was supposed to lose to the next big thing, the whole passing the torch saga.

he knows Floyd is money ,he can think his peace of **** but money is money ,ppl who work knows why fighters want best options (low risk ,high reward),every body would do it in his respective job.
