    Lemeuix vs Jacobs, winner gets GGG for 2nd time

    Why not, would be a great fight. Makes sense for both guys who both lost to Gennady, and it would put them back into title contention.

      jacobs shouldnt have to fight/beat that bum in order to get golovkin again. what he did in his own fight with golovkin was enough to warrant the rematch. but hes going to be the victim of circumstance and bad timing. if jacobs had fought golovkin a year ago he'd be getting a rematch. but a year ago jacobs probably wasnt ready. its unfortunate but i expect golovkin to avoid this fight. although if the canelo fight keeps getting put on backburner the fans will demand jacobs rematch and the pressue will mount on golovkin

          Why do people want to see that fight so bad? Lemieux would get obliterated.

            no one really wants to see it. lemieux stinks. sure its fun to watch him beat guys like glen tapia and curtis stevens up. but hes a C level guy. B- on his best day.

            these guys just want to act like lemieux is good to make golovkins resume seem better than it is. they want to put jacobs in the ring with someone so they have a reason to put off the rematch and hope jacobs gets sidetracked or forgot about.

              Jacobs may also make the mistake of becoming inactive, just like he did after his good performance against Quillin. He needs to capitalize off the buzz that his performance against GGG is making. Either get the rematch, or make fight some other notable opponent.

                I'm down with that fight in early 2018, if Golovkin is still at 160. If not, it can be a fight for vacant belt.

                  I would like to see Jacobs/Lemieux for sure.

                  Although I'm not sure that if Lemieux were to win I'd be cool with seeing GGG/Lemieux 2 because the first fight was so one sided. Now if Danny wins that makes the desire for GGG/Jacobs 2 even stronger than it already is, which would be great.

                    Lemieux rematch is uncompelling.
                    Things that make more sense than Lemieux rematch;
                    Saunders
                    Canelo
                    Charlo
                    Ramirez
                    Jacobs
                    Degale

                    Sure, Jacobs vs Lemieux is good but I'd have to see what else is in Golovkin's path at the time before saying the winner of this gets a rematch.
