The headline and article aren't consistent. The headline suggests there is a contract on the table waiting for the Golovkin side to sign, but the article states talks are ongoing.

The only possible reasons for there not being an agreement yet are:

(1) terms are agreed, but Golovkin side close to deal with GBP on Canelo (which might include not taking the June fight), so indeed 'dragging their feet'
- I highly doubt any agreement could be reached with GBP before June though

(2) terms for a Saunders fight not finalised (so nothing to sign)
- this is more likely
- Saunders might mean 'agree to my terms' vs 'sign the contract'

We need the full story before anyone can jump to conclusions - all we are getting here is a snippet.

Saunders is a relatively better mw than most. He is a good fight and even greater is this is a unifying fight. I can't see how anyone who is a fan of boxing would be against this. Your post only makes you seem like a ******
