Holy crap rounds 1, 3, 6???? Round 3 was one of GGG's best rounds, in round 1 his stiff jab dominated, and in round 6 he landed more and harder jabs and right hands. Can't take this fan scorecard seriously

Well that makes you, Danny, his trainer and manager that actually think Danny won... Oh and probably fishnets too!!! After seeing Danny fight, he beats Canela's b1tch a** too!!! So if DLH really does have a set of balls please make the GGG fight and stop talking about how his performance is making you second guess the fight... But then you'll have Canela fight Lemieux who GGG DOMINATED from start to finish... Somethings fishy that's not Oscar's undergarments!!!

Kell Brooks half white so practically the entire UK would have an excuse to be bitter. Don't forget, those idiots also thought he was winning the fight against GGG before getting brutally stopped lol.

its baffling that people are really seriously thinking Jacobs won that fight, what exactly did he do to win?

Golovkin supporters will also find reasons to justify why their guy won, but they have the advantage of having the rules of boxing on their side.

                Doesn't stop the arguments though.
I think it's misguided to say that someone who thought Jacobs won has ignored how boxing matches are scored. If it were as objective as you make it seem to be, there would be no split decisions, majority decisions, or majority draws. Even within unanimous decisions judges differ on who won individual rounds.

It seems to pain people that their opinion is just that...and opinion and not the RIGHT perspective. So they make up stuff like you just did or just say outlandish stuff like a person is ******ed or dumb or a hater.

I guess it's easier to do that than to explain why you felt the other guy won in terms of boxing. Why, because judging boxing round is subjective and ALWAYS up for debate.

Did he drop Golovkin? Nope, he got dropped.
Did he hurt Golovkin once? Nope, Golovkin marched forward all night and actually wobbled him numerous times. Both fighters faces after the fight tell the real story.
Did he outpunch/outland Golovkin overall? Nope, Golovkin did according to CompuBox.
Did he outpunch/outland Golovkin in most rounds? Nope, Golovkin outpunched/outlanded him in 9/12 rounds with 1 round tied.
Did he control the fight with his jab? Nope, Golovkin landed over 3 times as many POWER jabs snapping Jacobs' head back all night long.

The only stat Jacob exceeded Golovkin in was power punches landed. However, this was just 18 over the whole fight so is negligible. Also, he landed those power shots at a significantly lower connect percentage to GGG (39% to 49%) and as HBO stats for decades show the fighter who lands half his power punches always wins the fight which is exactly what happened.
Summary stats should not be used to analyze a fight from a win lose perspective. They don't tell the true story. Fights are judged round by round. I don't care if a guy lands 5 jabs in a round....if he gets hit with one bomb that staggers his opponent I may give him the round. Judging a round is not scientific and there are no rules to how a judge determines who is awarded the 10.

Yeah, Boxnation had it for Jacobs - quite enthusiastically too. We Brits do love an underdog.
