Floyd's defensive style makes every fight close because Floyd takes the "fight" out of the fight.
Mayweather should stay retired, sit back and watch a boxer like Linares show how it's done. Speed, footwork and beautiful combination punching, this is what boxing's all about.
Of course the floydiot you asked this question to danced around it.

But all of you buttlovekin fans say the same thing....if he would fight Canelo, he'd make more...Floyd wouldn't even entertain giving that assclown 15 million lmao! All of you "fans" jump from one hype train to the next

GGG the Super bowl champ? Floyd was the actual super champ he was a 5 division world champion, had almost every possible award thrown at him, broke the PPV records, retired undefeated 49-0 and is known as the best fighter of his era by anyone with any sense

Floyd WAS the boxing super bowl and the top merchandising team how in the hell is Golovkin ever rated above Floyd career wise? The guy does 100k ppvs he cant even get his own fans to buy his fights im not even sure half of them watch boxing anymore after their previous God Pacquiao lost to KTFO 6 and Mayweather

OK,lets break down what we have here. I see a 40 year old ex welterweight talking smack about how he would embarrass arguably the best middleweight in the world, while at the same time going after an mma fighter who would probably get his ass beat in a boxing match by algieri. If for 2 seconds we take off our tmt snapbacks,we would realize that Floyd would get seriously hurt in that hypothetical fight. People keep saying how Jacobs was so slick against GGG,and how he made him miss like an idiot, yet golovkin still managed to land nearly 40% percent of his total punches against Jacobs, and that was with GGG purely headhunting. Golovkin wasn't ****** enough to drop his hands and commit to the body, becuase he knew that Jacobs had legit power and fast hands, and that going to the body would be an invite for Jacobs to throw bombs at his head. Golovkin would walk mayweather down along the ropes, commit to the body, and break Floyd down. I don't care how slick mayweather is,or how well he can counter. We just watched golovkin walk down the bigger man for 12 rounds, and no matter what Jacobs threw at him,ggg was never discuraged and he kept pressing the fight. In my honest opinion, golovkin would walk through every jab and right straight that Floyd would fire off,and eventually he'd break him down to the body. But all of this is hypothetical. Floyd is retired, and 2 weight classes under. ggg needs to lift that belt off of Saunders, put a beating on canola oil, rematch Jacobs to quiet the naysayers, and fight charlo,to eliminate any doubt as to who's the champ at 160.

And Floyd shouldn't give ggg the opportunity to be great by making sure the fight is at 160, not 154. Letting ggg fight at 154 let's ggg show he can beat Floyd at any weight. If ggg beats Floyd at 160 it doesn't make ggg great, ggg is supposed to beat Floyd at160. Beating Floyd at154 will show ggg is great, but for Floyd it don't.
So Floyd has to be selfish and fight ggg at 160.

Hatton and Marquez to name a few...you weirdos act like guys like Canelo weren't getting backed up in the 9th round against Mayweather. Literally getting pot shotted in the corner with a 15lb weight advantage. The **** was hilarious.

That's what happen when an okay fighter meets and elite atg. Stay classy

he was LITERALLY uninterested in participating in a mega-fight that would land him his best possible payday
You are off the tangent....Cotto doesnt pitty-pat which is why I said GGG win or lose against Mayweather, wins the lottery pot of gold without a chance of being hurt against a pillow puncher. Anyone including GGG would give up one of their balls for that fight. But your boy Mayweather can only bark about GGG and instead wants to fight a guy with zero boxing bouts.

Cong**** on making yourself look like a complete idiot because I am not a GGG fan and less of one for Canelo. I am a fan of Jacobs and always have been, that is a fact. And GGG would expect the most money from a Mayweather fight since Mayweather is the one saying he can beat GGG. And the bottom line is GGG would make more in an hour than most clowns here make in an hour and it would be easy money for GGG win or lose.
