Mayweather is a serial batterer of women cannot be disputed.
Golovkin is the unified middleweight champion cannot be disputed.

But Floyd needs to be real.

If he came out of retirement to fight Lil g at 154, he'd make a crapload of money as well.

            Maybe the same money.

Not because Triple L is as well known as McGroggy...but because the same folks would buy either fight.

Folks who want to see Floyd get his azz whupped.
No way. People who have never watched a boxing match will buy Mayweather-McGregor. It will sell in the millions. Mayweather-GGG would sell a fraction of that. Its nowhere near the same money for a GGG as for a McGregor fight. Many of the people who will buy a May-Mac fight have never heard of GGG.

You wanna argue that McFly would have more buys, I won't protest much- 1.5 vs 1.75 or so are both big enough numbers.

(Yeah, I am one of a few who don't see a MMA vs Boxing as some mega fight to outdo everything before it).

And the 3 three loss thing confused me as well.

              Still funny tho.
The people who bought the Pac and Canelo fight will not all buy a Floyd-GGG fight.

The 2.2 million people who bought the Canelo fight were a lot of Mexicans and a lot Americans. Mexicans and Americans generally don't care about GGG enough to pay to see him fight, as shown in the Lemiuex and Jacobs fights.

The 4.4 million PPV's for May-Pac is something that we will never come close to ever again, or at least not for a very long time from now. To assume that those bought either the Canelo/Pacquiao PPV's would buy the GGG PPV is not really thinking about star power. Canelo and Pacquiao are insanely popular A-side fighters on their own. Mayweather is an insanely popular A-side fighter. When you put that together you get crazy PPV numbers.

GGG is a B-side fighter. If GGG fought Canelo, Pacquiao, Cotto, he would be the B-side fighter. While Mayweather was the A-side in Pac, Canelo, Cotto, we all knew that the "B-side" fighters in those 3 fights were A-side fighters in their own fights.

Big fan of Mayweather but if you aint gonna do it dont speak on it. GGG won that fight these ladies can keep crying about it but does not change a thing. Love all the little names they have for GGG but still undefeated and still the king at MW.

Floyd isn't in the business of introducing fighters to casual fans unless he's promoting them. The only current boxer who can sell out Vegas like Floyd is Canelo and he needs no introduction
You are preaching to the choir.

Canelo II, Pac II, and Cotto II all make more money than a fight with Mr. 154-175=160.

And yeah, so does a McBooger fight.

But, make no mistake, any fight where casuals perceive Floyd possibly losing is potential gold. It's all relative- how much and with who.

Golovkin fans cry Jacobs was too big but then want a 40 year old retired Mayweather to fight Golovkin.

The most pathetic fanbase in the history of the sport, even worse than the pac turds.
