I think Kovalev and GGG both "won" those fights in the eyes of people who thought they won because of the perception that they punch harder then Ward and Jacobs. And the KDs only increased that perception. So in close rounds, which there were a lot of in both fights, you probably gave them the round because you assume they hit the other guy harder than they got hit.

I 100% agree. There is no waaaaaaaaaaaaaay in hell Pac-man won that fight. None. He was outclassed. Pac-man was a huge sore loser and delusional. He had less reason to think he beat Mayweather than Cotto had to say he beat Canelo and Cotto lost that fight clearly.

Both Kovalev and GGG are pressure fighters. There's a reason why both slowed down considerably in the second half of the fight, Kovalev especially. Those "lil taps to the body" that Ward was hitting him with turned a freight train into a go cart.
