Man it's a lot of tough guy writers and boxing analyst. This guy is always hating. He talks like he's the toughest guy ever and probably never won a fight a day in his life.

Y'all was saying Floyd was scared of Rousey and McGregor for 2 years straight on here. There was hundreds of threads about both of them beating Floyd. YOU the fans are responsible for this fight. Don't try and play like you don't remember all the hundreds of threads.

Fight will most likely go down in my opinion. Why? Because it's a money fight and people are clamouring for it. There's so much noise for this fight to happen that the people who can make it happen will either cash in on the hype or let it simmer out. More than likely it goes. Competitive? Nah. Big money? Yes.

It's annoying to hear every professional sportscaster tell their audience that this is a sham fight, but then go on to say that it's gonna make a ton of money. The excuses for McGregor are all built in when he loses, so there's no suspense. Unless there are still millions of VERY salty Manny Pacquiao fans buying this fight, I just can't see how it will be successful. Mayweather will get his guarantee, but I can see everyone else involved losing a ton of money, deservedly so.

Floyd IS scared of rousey and mcgregor in a MMA fight. Maybe not scared of the fight itself, but scared of the risk/reward calculations.

Floyd is a superb boxer, that exploited boxings business loopholes, (once he moved to WW), to minimize risk, and maximize profits. He gets an A+ for both boxing skills and intelligence, but has NO care for his legacy or the sport of boxing.

A TRUE fight fans POV would be if he was choosing to come out of retirement, he should be fighting one time or the winner of brook vs spence.

The fans assumption that floyd would never risk a fight with either MMA fighter was absolutely correct.

Floyd is STILL taking NO risk, by keeping this "fight" a pure boxing match. He is not allowing the MMA fighter to use ANY of his tools. ANYONE who has even a remote understanding of the 2 sports knows that mcgregor has next to no chance of winning.

This fight is happening, because there is little to no risk for the boxing business man and a huge payday. It has NOTHING to do with fans calling floyd on his BS path of least resistance since he moved from 135.

The boxing business man wont even agree to 4 oz gloves in a PURE BOXING match against a complete novice boxer. Pathetic.

With floyd, its all about the $$$$$$$, and NOTHING about the one-on-one competition of actual fighting.

First of all Floyd would kill Rousey she can't even take down women her size anymore. Why the fuçk do Floyd have to risk something for 2 trailer park trash who just came on the scene 2 years ago? What is McGregor risking by Floyd fighting in the MMA lol you do know McGregor is the one who called Floyd out not the other way around?? UFC wasn't even around when Floyd was running through the amateur ranks if it was he probably would of dominated that too lol.

Can't call someone out then get scared and use the rules as an excuse. 4oz gloves? Since when did Floyd turn down a offer to fight in 4oz gloves? McGregor hasn't even mentioned anything about gloves now you just making up stuff. Furthermore the fight hasnt even been agreed too so you dont know what is agreed upon.
Hes 40 years old and has fought and earned the position he's in.

                  CHAMPIONS he beat since 135
Mosley, Hatton,De La Hoya, Canelo, Pacquiao, Maidaina
All champions or ranked p4p. One of the best reaumes in boxing better than gggs. Who have you beat?

No one wants to say it, but this is a great fight for both MMA and Boxing. Sure, it's a joke to boxing purists, but from a marketing standpoint this is a fantastic opportunity.

The hype will be incredible. If it goes as it should, it will generate huge interest for both brands.

For boxing, you're going to get a ton of fans who haven't watched a lot of boxing tuning in, they'll see a bigger and "scarier" looking McGregor get taken apart by a master of the sweet science. It will elevate boxing in the eyes of new fans. For MMA, it will hype their brand and Connor will get smoked, but he'll also be giving a several weeks long infomercial on MMA. And he's not supposed to win, so who cares what he looks like losing.

The only thing that would be a disaster for boxing is if McGregor somehow won, it would be disasterous for boxing.

For the purists this will be fun to watch, but no more so fun than walking into any boxing gym on any day where a pro is giving lessons in the ring to amateurs. And they're going to convince 80% of the viewers who wune in that McGregor has a chance, there will be viral videos of McGregor KOing a sparring partner or two, there will be testimony from experts training him that he is a prodigy who has learned more than anyone thought possible. They will do a great job hyping it. And there will also be talk about McGregor fouling to get out of the fight, that will generate buys too, "What if McGregor gets sick of getting wailed on and decides to kick Mayweather in the head?"

People can say it's a joke of an actual match up all they want, I won't argue with that. But this is great for boxing.

I hope McGregor pulls off the upset, just so I can watch so many people boxing people and flo*os go literally bats*it crazy at what they just witnessed.
