The only thing that could make this fight interesting? Use smaller gloves!

There are just a few very slim chances that McGregor has to win. One, is if somehow he comes in and moves so unorthodox, (because he is not a boxer), and throws floyd off so badly, that he's able to land something very big and KO him early. Two, father time, who beats everyone eventually, has caught up with floyd. Three, during the 12 round churning of the hamburger that used to be McGregor's face, McGregor lands a very lucky big lottery ticket type punch.

This "fight" is a joke as far as combat goes. McGregor actually has less of a chance then James Toney had fighting Randy Couture. At least JT had a boxer's "punchers chance", and thats bettter then a MMA fighters punchers chance. Especially with 4 oz gloves.

You can't box a boxer. I've seen this theme over through the years, a non boxer boxes a boxer, and the boxer can knock him out at will.

Look for a roundy rousey sized piece of humble pie for mcgregor after the fight.

Well i dont argue with you about the outcome but I dont think floyd stops him , i think Connor will throw a lot (and miss a ton) and there will be times in the fight where he will push the action and the ATG boxer will just move away and slide from the wild punches , the crowed will hate that floyd is "running" from Connor and i wont be surprised if he McG will make a joke out of it , like stop the fight in the middle of the ring , or stop trying to cut the ring or just do funky stuff that will make the boxer look like a coward while the MMA guy wants blood and entertainment , the casuals will be on Connor side if thats the way the fight will go (i.e Floyd scoring non stop but nothing with power while not going toe 2 toe in any period of the fight).

Exactly but I think Floyd will not care by then because he would have collected that huge payout.

Kellerman should worry more about hbold's dying boxing schedule.... Floyd left hbo a decade ago almost stop worrying about him....

I agree that it's a business move, but it is at least an interesting dog and pony show.

A caveat: Max knows Mayweather vs McGregor won't be on HBO, and so is preemptively attacking this fight.

It is a joke, but you will have MMA/McGregor fanboys and Floyd detractors thinking that Conor has a legit shot at winning.

Likely the same idiots who think American jobs are coming back from overseas and coal will re-emerge as the primary energy source.
