I think it's more mind games at this point. Kovalev and team have clearly shown how affected they were by the loss and Ward is just putting salt in the wound. By the time they fight again, Kovalev might be completely off his game from rage alone. We'll see...Comment

If he is in fact just holding out for money, do you honestly think he's worth more than he got the first time? It's been pretty well proven he isn't. At this point he has to face the reality that he's not a star and either fight or go away.Comment

It might be for you , but he is trying to be floyd with all this BS talk but forgets that they sold 100K PPV last time , there isnt any extra money coming in for this fight , and all the floyd talk is not working when you dont back it up with the $$$ numbers , do you think he can squeeze some more money by altering the agreed contract ? maybe but again its disgusting and dishonest , does he care about it ? probably not.
He is bar none the most annoying boxer on social media

I don't know or care what he's worth. I think fighters should go after what they can get. It's worked brilliantly for him in the past as he's currently one of the highest paid boxers.
Now, if he fked up this rematch over money, I'd be pissed. Real pissed. I don't defend shytty actions just because I like a fighter. No way he's going to convince me there's not enough money to go out there and do this. For now, I'm willing to be patient while he negotiates his pay.Comment

Not unreasonable...but when does that patience run out? It's been over 4 months and nothing. I mean, if there was some negotiating going on, why would kovalev bother saying the type of **** he's been saying. Assuming he wants the rematch, and they are in the process of getting it done...why would he randomly talk a bunch of trash in public? I just hope the problem isn't between ward and his promoter.I don't know or care what he's worth. I think fighters should go after what they can get.
