Those were exactly my sentiments before but I think we've got a couple great new options available at 160 now and Golovkin has shown that he might struggle with the rangey guys at 168.

IF I still thought he could dominate 168 I'd still want him to go there, but I no longer think he can.

youve known about these 'young lions' coming up for a while so why have you only decided all of a sudden that you want him to stay at 160 after sanchez said he might move to 168? Oh wait let me guess, its because you're a hateful idiot.

It depends on how long. Is Charlo going to be ready next year or in 2years? Also it's clear Canelo's team is well aware of his age and will push once he shows signs of decline. If these fights are a realistic possibility in the next year, I can live with it. But I have no interest in anymore stay busy fights or weak ibf mandatories.

I hear ya. Last year, Canelo showed no real interest in fighting Golovkin and I didn't think he should waste the rest of his career waiting on him. All I heard from Golovkin fans was that he needed to wait and now it seems it might actuality happen. If they can't secure that one this year, Charlo isn't a good enough reason to hang around. Canelo in 2017 and Charlo in '18 would great be though.

I don't think that is why he is moving up to be fair they always said he will look to move up "AFTER HE UNIFIES" that is one thing Abel and K2 at least been consistent about I have to give them that. Grabbing the WBO is the only thing left to do. Jacobs will be at 168 soon as well so why can't the rematch be at 168

One of the young Lions hasn't had a single fight at MW and just made his decision. How have I known about him coming up for a while? The other just had his 10th fight and an impressive KO. He may have to fight Johnson for the IBF eliminator or they may give Johnson the mandatory. Like I said, it's just starting to heat up.

They had plans set and they're continuing what they started.
Unify the belts at 160 then move up! Thats what they've said all along. The fighting at 154 was for Mayweather not Canelo or anyone else! The fight at 168 was for Ward no one else.
Those are business decision not what fans want, screw the fans they have no clue what this business is about.
I want to see Canelo in with GGG but now that Canelo gave his belt to GGG and if GGG can beat Saunders the only reason fight Canelo is for pay, right?
Well lets make it at 168!!! GGG leaves his belts behinjd and Canelo has no belts so why not? Let Canelo stew for a while just like he did to GGG.

50/50 fight, equal billing equal cut!
