Just as the middleweight division gets hot, Abel says GGG is moving up

After he's got all the belts, unless the Canelo fight doesn't materialise, there's really no reason for him to hang around at 160. There's nothing there for him at 160 apart from a potential Canelo fight. People will mention the likes of Charlo moving up, but nobody has even heard of them really and there will always be someone else that they say you should fight. If he stayed and beat Charlo, they will just bring up another name. You have to just move up at some point regardless.
I'd like to see a Jacobs rematch but who's to say it has to be done at 160 anyway? Judging by how much Jacobs gained and missed same day weigh in, there's no excuse why they couldn't do it above 160 somewhere down the line.Comment

Motorcity Cobra: Canelo will never happen, time for Lil G to move up and test himself. He doesn't dare to be great.
Abel: Time to move up.
Motorcity Cobra: Lil G is ducking the (hotter day by day) MW Division.Comment

Why would Jacobs move up if he's not having trouble making the weight?Comment

Motorcity Cobra: Instead of fighting a welterweight, move up and test yourself.
Also Motorcity Cobra: Jacobs rematch, Charlo fight. No reason to move up now.Comment

Sanchez: After Saunders if we don't get the Canelo fight or the Brook rematch we're moving up. Call up Willie Monroe Jr so we can show you how great Gennady is against a slick southpawComment
-
Abel Sanchez: Is Martin Murray retired? Now that's a guy who'll stand there and let Gennady hit him.Comment

But Jacobs was an active fighter in the (weak) MW division when GGG fought Brook, wasn't he? So what changed exactly, why is MW getting hot now?
Jacobs fight was tougher than expected, GGG almost lost lol.
You don't care about GGG proving himself or anything like that like you love to say when challenged over your hatred for GGG.
You just want to see him get beaten. You didn't think there was anybody in MW who could do that so you demanded GGG to move up. But now, when a MW you didn't think was capable of beating Golovkin has actually almost done it, you suddenly want GGG to stay in his division. Geez I wonder why
