GGG to get around $10mill for Saunders fight

    per his Fatness....
    Dan (New York)

Golovkin dream is unify the belts (saunders). Money and popularity is the Canelo fight. DLH now says that if he fights Saunders he put in risk the fight between GGG & Canelo. Knowing that Oscar already said even before the fight Canelo-Cotto that next Canelo fight should be against the winner of Lemieux-GGG, and since then it's being dragging it. What would you recommend GGG? Saunders or sit and wait?

Dan Rafael, The Boxing Guy (12:35 PM)

I believe GGG will fight Saunders in June. He is not going to be dictated to by Canelo and give up his dream for the 4th belt. He can go have homecoming fight for many millions (I've heard around $10 million) for a fight he will win win handily vs. Saunders. It's a no-brainer. If Oscar and Canelo don't like that that's on them and they will suffer the wrath of the fans and press if they blow the fight.

That's a nice pay day for him if it's true but I find it a bit far fetched.... is Khazakstan that lucrative a venue to fetch him 10 million and still get Saunders his fair share? (He won't come cheap if he comes at all)

Dude check out google. Astana is spending anywhere from $1.5bill to $3bill on the World Expo. $15mill ($5mill for BJS), is nothing.........

There's major money involved, including China.

Hosting EXPO-2017 in Astana will cost $3 billion, Tengrinews reports citing LS magazine. $500 million has already been invested by Kazakhstani investors.

If thats the case then he should fight saunders, the canelo fight will be there for may 2018... he could get a bit older but he will also get two huge paydays, at his age is a no brainer...

I'm personally fine with delaying the Canelo fight. I don't think Canelo has any chance vs Golovkin and Canelo's momentum is **** right now.

Canelo facing Golovkin is nothing like when Trinidad faced off with Hopkins. Tito had dramatic victories over killers like Reid, Vargas, and even Joppy was good back then.

Canelo? He's coming off laughable wins over Liam Smith, Amir Khan, and facing a weight drained Chavez Jr who's looked like crap for the last 3 years. His best win was Lara and it was a snooze fest. Yeah, Golovkin would have better fights rematching Jacobs, Charlo, Eubank, Rameriz, & DeGale.

Kazakhstan is one of the most corupt countries. Lol if people thought the money was coming from PPV sales and live gate. The country wants to show. What is $15 million for your national hero? People are looking at it like its a normal fight, but its really the most famous guy in the country doing something that not many in the WORLD have done. His name will go in folklore, percentage splits with Canelo are nothing compared.

These overseas fights usually have backers who put up some good money.

Pretty ignorant thing to say but expected from a fanboy tbh.
