We all know the WBC will put them on the back burner if the Canelo fight gets made.

Anyway, gonna be interesting what happens when he gets that number 1 position. Could be another huge fight at 160 right here.

He may have smelled blood as far back as the Adama fight. I remember a video of like 3 years ago where Charlo praised GGG but called him a "typical fighter with a lot of power", and said that speed, energy and movement beats GGG. In the video I remember him also saying that in the upcoming years as his competition rises we will see more flaws in him and that he is not flawless.
Yea Charlo already wanted to fight him even before the Jacobs fight.

Kidding though. I've actually been calling for GG to go up to 168 and dominate because 160 was dead and no one would fight him. But, now it looks like Canelo will actually fight him and Charlo is on the scene so it would be great for him to stay at 160 for another year.
If GGG fights anyone with a pulse at 168 he is gonna get ******ed. He already struggled to hurt or move or beat (depending on who you ask) a bigger guy in Jacobs, who's been hurt before.

MW division gets hot, the top slick African brothers start talking about moving up, SMW fighters start losing to each other, K2 ran out of the Monroe Jr's and Dominic Wade's. Let's move up to 168 now, the coast is clear, Froch is way retired, Ward said he's done with us, we're good to go.

All jokes aside, there's some good fights at 168. His KO ratio would go down at 168. That's what happens when you move up and start getting outweighed. Those boxing skills his fans like to praise will have be put on display even more, just like Floyd had to do at 147-154. Guys will take his power much better there, hurt him more often, we will def see a more "boring" GGG. DeGale, Ramirez, Jack, Dirrell's, would all be good fights. But he should probably start with Abraham, an older, shorter(for SMW), big name lower ranked SMW to test the waters.

If you believe there is a $15M offer to the B side fighter who can't sell 200k PPV's for a fight that won't do 1.5M PPV buys & might not even do 1M PPV buys (Cotto is a bigger name & Canelo maxxed out at 900k vs him) you should work out the math for those economics yourself.

Or just tell me about the previous B-sider who got $15M for a fight that won't do 1.5M buys & might not do 1M buys lol.

If Oscar offered $15M he's ******ed & if Tommy L turned down $15M he's ******ed too.

I'd like to see more of Charlo especially at 160 but as much as I've seen so far Charlo is a credible opponent for GGG.

Heiland blows, I actually think it was the right move for the belt organization not to force a subpar fighter as a mando (you hear that IBF, screw you and your Dominic Wade).

I didn't hear the Sanchez quote, but I am pretty sure Golovkin is going to fight at middleweight at least two more times to tie the B Hop record or surpass it. Saunders will be #19.

Saunders to unify, Canelo, Charlo, Jacobs rematch and Eubanks off the top of my head seem like good Middleweight options. Maybe Andy Lee? I kind of feel Golovkin owes him, that fight got cancelled because Golovkin's father died.

I think Andy Lee is who they get for June if Saunders has ridiculous demands.

I totally agree with you, but apparently the 15 million dollar offer was made.

Btw, I love that sweetheart doing the "panda dance". I can watch it for hours!
