Charlo will be the WBC mandatory for GGG in a few months

Ronnie Shields said any day now they will be mandated to fight Heiland for the WBC #1 spot and hope to fight by May or June and will be chasing GGG down... From the sound of it they don't even wanna wait for the GGG-Canelo fight to happen to take advantage of that #1 mandatory spot. Must be smelling blood in the water after Saturday night? We all know the WBC will put them on the back burner if the Canelo fight gets made.

Anyway, gonna be interesting what happens when he gets that number 1 position. Could be another huge fight at 160 right here.

Wait, is that not what you guys have wanted him to do for at least a year now? Or is Charlo the new guy he's gonna duck like Ward? Lol, the dude could be undisputed at 160 and 168 and he'd still never get any respect from some people.

I'd like to see the Charlo fight over Degale or Zurdo, those dudes don't interest me much but he'd probably make way more money in the UK for Degale and wherever vs Zurdo just because he's Mexican and Mexicans buy PPV no matter how ****ty they are just look at Canelo-Smith.

Hasn't Charlo been said he'd fight GGG even before the Jacobs fight? Maybe i'm confusing him with someone else, but I think he's already shown interest. He's not just smelling blood now. He may have smelled blood as far back as the Adama fight. I remember a video of like 3 years ago where Charlo praised GGG but called him a "typical fighter with a lot of power", and said that speed, energy and movement beats GGG. In the video I remember him also saying that in the upcoming years as his competition rises we will see more flaws in him and that he is not flawless.

Kidding though. I've actually been calling for GG to go up to 168 and dominate because 160 was dead and no one would fight him. But, now it looks like Canelo will actually fight him and Charlo is on the scene so it would be great for him to stay at 160 for another year.
