If this don't motivate him, nothing will.

Canelo isn't a mover like Sergio, though. He'll exchange with junior, you can count on that.

Should be a good fight, I'm rooting for the spoiled best.

If Jr keeps up this level of motivation I'm pumped for this fight. Might look like Cotto v Margarito 1. Would love to see ginger face a bigger fighter who keeps coming forward to fight, instead of one that he has a size advantage over.

lol at the punch stat of choco vs thai dude.

And they dropped him fom the P4P 1 spot in order to put Andre Ward who unlike Choco got outlanded/outboxed in his last fight...but got the decision...

Chavez was too much drained at 160 and was too small at 175 fully losing his size advantage.

The thing is dude was fighting a hard fight every time to make 160.

Chavez jr best weight would have been 168, staying strong/big but in shape.

At 164.5 I'm giving a shot to beat Candelo.

At 160, it would be a lost fight.

Yea definitely agree here. But idk that you can turn years of giving f#ck all about your career into a Mexican Rocky II movie like script outcome.

Its a compelling narrative to think about & like I said I'm rooting for it cuz its the more interesting outcome. I just can't reallllllly see it happening cuz he's neglected his skills for so long + even when he was tip top for him he wasn't looking all that great outside of moments here & there.
Even if Chavez looked like sht vs Fonfara, Fonfara is 5 ft taller than Canelo.

Martinez has a special style, like to boxes circles around a coming forward fighter.

Canelo like coming forward fighters too, Chav jr will be there to get hit.

But Chavez is no walk in the park, Martinez beat him but almost got koed in the last round.

All that matters to them is chavez's name so they can convince his loyal minion what an awesome fighter he is. Canelo' leg s should be strong from all that running he's done staying away from Golovkin
Oscar and Eric Gomez probably were sniffing coke when they pitched Julio to Canelo and Canelo is such a dumbass that he just agreed to it.

Curious how heavy Canelo will be looking to come in doe. He's been 155 max & this is 9.5lbs higher than he's fought before.

Definitely seems like there is potential for this to be a cherry pick gone wrong, but then I think about what has Chavez Jr ever really done & I just can't see it going down. Would be a pretty insane upset if it went down & Oscar is for sure getting a DUI &/or falling off the coke wagon before Monday morning.
I don't think Oscar ever really made it back on the wagon. My guess is that he never really committed to sobriety, but instead used substance abuse as an excuse for his fishnets. Can't say I blame him...because it's hard to explain away fishnets while maintaining that Golden Boy facade.
