>>> Thurman's resume is better than Golovkin's and Kovalev's...

140 is not that stacked, that's why they were top 5. Gamboa was coming off 1 year of inactivity and he was moving up from 2 divisions below. Postol's only good win is overrated brawler Matthysse who had injured eye, that's his ONLY good achievment in pro boxing, not to mention almost non-existent amateur background and 41% KO ratio. Porter and Garcia are better wins. But the OP won't mention that because there's obvious agenda to discredit only fighters from the other continentLast edited by g27region; 03-24-2017, 11:45 AM.Comment

No doubt. Thurman's got a really underrated resume and he's still only 28.
1. Porter
2. Garcia
3. Chaves
4. Collazo
5. Guerrero
I would rank his wins in that order. That's way better than Pascal, Cleverly and 50 year old BHop. Better than Jacobs, Lemieux and Murray too.
3 top 5 guys? Top 5 what? Since when do you care about where guys are ranked according to governing bodies? Postol is Crawford's only credible win, he can add Diaz to that in May.Comment

Robert Guerrero is just a name on Thurman's resume. I consider Chaves as his third best win.
A win over welterweight Danny Garcia is not a better win than Jacobs. Both wins are comparable as far as the quality of the opponents and the fashion in which they won, in competitive fights.Comment

147 and 154 are overrated by Americans who have more dogs in the race, perfectly understandable, but it clouds judgementComment
