Im not sure why these clowns are so desperately trying to convince people that Jacobs was 175, or 176, or whatever. Who cares? Obviously he put serious pounds on, or he wouldnt have skipped the IBF and HBO weigh-ins.

But that was his right, and 100% within the rules.
He made 160 on weigh in day and that's all that needs to be said in this case.

Any other excuse is just that, an excuse for GGG not looking good.

Another guy from "The Fight Journal" reported the same, said he was directly told by a team member that Jacobs was 184lb before the fight.

People need to stop making a big deal out of these fight-night weights. It should not even be mandated by any governing body. It should be negotiated between the two fighters, instead. Otherwise, it should become a rule across the board. The official weighins should be all that matter.

He looked pretty decent to me vs a guy outweighing him by that much. Jacobs that night would have beaten every other MW. Still GGG pressed forward and put the hurt on Jacobs outlanding, outthrowing Jacobs and putting him on his ass. After the fight GGG looked fresh and Jacobs looked like a pumpkinhead.

              Seems high, 180 is likely.

Cheesy game playing to sign to fight for IBF but intentionally blow off second day. Lemieux did the same thing and seriously hurt Curtis. Promoters of fighters with IBF titles at stake need to protect their fighters in contract.

Also doing first weigh in so early was a ridiculous mistake, let Jacobs have 38 hours to put on a ton of weight and be comfortable with it.

Super classy of Golovkin not to ***** about any of this. Instead of calling Jacobs a cheat, which most fighters would have done, he talked about how good Jacobs is and said he was open to a rematch.

The thing is, GGG didn't look bad. He just looked like he was competing. I don't get it with people. They say they want GGG to be tested in a fight, and he was, and came out on top, but that's not enough. It means he's exposed or he sucks or a bum or some bull****. Either you want him to get challenged or you don't. Cause when he ends up knocking Canelo or BJS or someone else it's gonna be "MAN HE NEEDS TO MOVE UP **** THESE PRETENDERS." This is proof people were waiting for Jacobs to get knocked out early so they can call him a bum. But he fought a great fight and if you're gonna give him credit, you have to give Triple G credit as well.

I would agree with you but look at this thread you are posting in.

GGG fans all over the place crying about what Jacobs rehydrated to, when they NEVER complained about fight night weight before.

The hypocrisy gets worst when you consider that they defended GGG fighting a welterweight not too long ago. Not to mention that they all proclaimed that Floyd should fight GGG, saying that if GGG can make 154 then it shouldnt matter what he blows up to after.

Im not bashing GGG though. The guy is class. He is one of the best in the sport. You only gonna get but so much credit for beating an 8 to 1 underdog though. Come on. Thats for everybody, not just GGG.

No rematch, Canelo next. Plz .
Sounds like excuses as to why 666 lost.
