what does that even mean? What weight are they fighting at? Ward is huge framed compared to the lanky Kovalev. You're saying no top 5 LHW other than Ward can beat GGG?

That's your opinion. In my opinion, he has no chance against Golovkin.

Just let the fight happen and you'll see.

Life and death with Julian Williams will not translate nicely to a fight with GG.

          Huh? No LHWs.

Ward is a natural 168lber. I'm talking up to 168.

GG is a small 160lber, forget about LHW.

A 5th round knockout win with three KDs is hardly life and death lol.... did Golovkin go life and death with Brook??????

His chin ultimately couldn't hold up to the step up in class, but he did a lot of good things against Charlo. Remember, this is an unproven 154lber we're talking about. What do you think GG would do?

Hell, even before the KO, he landed a hard shot.... Charlo has leaky defense, everything about him is all wrong for GG. GG would of KO'd him with that punch before the ultimate KO, IMHO.

                  Ward WAS a natural 168lbr.

If Ward was at 168 still you don'T think that would be unfair to other 168 fighters? so he went to 175 to fight Kovalev because he wanted a real challenge and not also because 175 is more comfortable? Did you see how scrawny he was against the Kova weigh in?

Huh? I don't get it lol, what are you arguing?

Are you saying that Kovalev would beat Golovkin too? Of course he would, but skills aside (Kovalev is better in general, imo), he's too big for Golovkin. That's not a fair fight.

I'm saying from 154-168, nobody can beat Golovkin, except for Ward. Maybe. I still don't think he'd win, but he'd have the best chance and at this point I'd probably be nervous for my boy GG while they're walking to the ring, tbh.

Golovkin beats any other active fighters from 154-168 right now- 175 is way too big a step up, obviously, so I'm not comparing him to any LHWs except Ward currently

                      I don't think so.

this is going to sound cliche: but lets be real here:

Golovkin was letting Brook have success in that fight, I have no scientific formula to prove this.... but just watch the fight and you'll see he had absolutely no respect for Brook.

It's NOT life and death if you're not trying, which Golovkin wasn't. It IS life and death if you are doing EVERYTHING in your power to avoid being hit and trying your 100000% hardest to win, which was the case with Charlo.

Golovkin knew Brook couldn't bother him and the KO was ultimately coming, but Charlo really had to dig deep for that KO and was truly bothered by J-Rock, IMHO.
