15 million is a HUGE offer, if that was actually the case and GGG flat out refused it then the label would be GGG is ducking Canelo or is wanting too much money. Thats the narrative told by certain people (no idea where you are on this).

Now, going back to ESPN, Oscar got absolutely hammered on there, especially with Kellerman saying Canelo isnt the ducking type so it must be something to do with GBP.

Oscar has the chance then to defend himself ando utright say "look we have a 15 million dollar offer on the table" and he refused to do that. Multiple times on a 15 min interview. Thats shady, considering Oscar has been attributed as having said there is a 15 million offer (I dont follow his twitter so no idea where ppl are getting this quote).

That leads me to believe no such offer was ever made.

So no, its not both sides deserving of the blame. The both sides argument is always done when one side is losing out and doesnt want to admit they were wrong. Canelos supporters or rather, GGGs haters, want to place the blame on his no matter.

Bottom line is, Canelo was lineal champ, stated on live television he would fight GGG and then moved to light middle and now is moving to super middle. Those are the antics of someone who doesnt want the fight.

Because he didn't go into specifics it didn't exist?

I'll counter that by saying Loeffler was specifically asked about $15 mil and didn't deny it. That points to it existing...

Oscar said it pretty plainly. Said he heard the GGG PPV numbers are not very good and is taking that flat fee offer off the table to protect the investment. Whatever you thought GGG's stock was last week it's lower today that's just a fact. GGG has proven he isn't a huge draw and it's probably not going to be more then a 1m ppv event. So now he gets paid less. Of course this is reflection on GGG who looks like he hasn't made any significant changes in his status as a PPV draw in boxing. 2 years ago Tom was saying the Lemieux fight needed to do at least 200k buys it didn't it flopped and now this Jacobs fight depending on the source you use either did less 130-150k buys or did slightly over 150k. So if less then 200k was BAD against Lemieux why is less then 200K not worst against Jacobs? If he ends up making less then 15m he looks like and idiot for not accepting it BEFORE the Jacobs fight which hurt him in negotiations.

This is what happens when you only manage to sell 80K US PPVs..

Said it before, will say it again - none of the **** you heard for the last year and what you will hear for next 2 months mean anything. Until Golovkin was done with Jacobs and Canelo is done with Chavez, all of the posturing they're doing through the media has absolutely no substance.

Canelo did big numbers with Cotto in the "post May/Pac" environment and if the 300k figure is correct, he did great numbers against an unknown in Smith too. Golovkin can't seem to draw. That's no attack on the guy though.
So he's back to the 10% offer or what? Just wondering

He hasn't disclosed. I'll bet he knows he missed the peak opportunity for sales though and with GG's numbers not shining and boxing PPVs down in general, he can't be throwing around 10 or even 15mil anymore. I've no idea what % he's offering though.

It will change a few more times before June. Then after June, when it's time to fight next, the deal will be "Sometime next year...we really mean it this time."

Either way ggg was fawked the only way would be if ggg sold 550 k in ppv but he didn't. Had he knocked Jacobs out he would have had to wait longer
