If Oscar is offering that co promotional deal that he did a while back I think Mikey should take that deal. He would split the money with GBP per fight. Also there's Linares, Gamboa, etc......to fight.

But also if Mikey desires to go up weight maybe Ring Star would be better based on the Al Haymon relationship.

Alot of his largest potential fights are gonna be jw and ww, Loma and Crawford are Top Rank. Broner (who being discussed for Mikey) is PBC along with Garcia, Porter, Thurman...all big fights later on...he cant go wrong

The thing is he doesn't need to sign with Schaefer to get PBC fights. Just deal directly with haymon as his adviser and be a free agent and he can get fights and haymon will use whatever promoters he deals with including schaefer, lou, mayeather, ect. I don't see the benefit of locking in with schaefer. The fact that this has dragged on this long makes no sense if he was going with schaefer why didn't he sign last year? Golden boy or just signing with haymon should be his 2 options. Kiss linares, gamboa, lomachenko, Crawford off the list if he goes with schaefer. Can't see Oscar or arum working with schaefer. Or stay PBC free agent and get Robert easter fight then jump to 147 that's where PBC is deeper.

Now that I've thought about it more...Haymon is the way to go. We know how much money he helped Floyd make, with Top Rank and GBP at their throats. You gotta think for yourself and NOT about boxing, make as much money as you can, HAYMON has shown what he can do with Mayweather.

interesting analysis. This is why I always tell my brothas always go with black. Because this is just how other races think. For example if they are white, they will go to a white lawyer. So if you are black why would you go give your money to a white lawyer to represent you?

I would go with Schafer, he's probably the only true promoter. Other promoters either hurt their fighters or just make them famous based on the name recognition of the company. But Schaefer is an actual promoter who sells the fights.
