He's right, though. No one wanted him at 33. He's 35 now. Fought better opposition the last 2, and everyone treats him like a failing superman for the Brook and Jacobs fights. At his age and especially size for the 2nd fight in comparison on the day of, I feel like the dude is doing pretty good. He has to stay active, though. Fight Saunders next and starch him out, then get Canelo by Oct. I don't want Floyd or B-Hop comparisons. GGG doesn't fight like Floyd or Bernard (defensive), so naturally those guys can fight later on.

just like with Ward/Kovalev..... one guy fought his fight, and the other guy did not
      Outboxed by landing less punches?

Weren't you saying that Ward shouldn't have a rematch with Kovalev previously?

I sincerely hope this fight happens this year, but I don't have a lot of sympathy for GGG, because he had a choice, Andre Ward @ 168 (remember anybody from 154-168), or to wait for the winner of Cotto vs. Canelo (which was fought @ 155). GGG chose the latter! Hindsight is 20/20!

Last I looked fights are scored by rounds??? You know what that means??? You have to judge the fight by 3 minute increments at a time.

Here;s the punch stats. Maybe they were going off power punches??? Which Jacobs won in the 1,3,6,7,8,9,10, and 11.

Golovkin-Jacobs CompuBox Punch Stats - IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin won the fight with his jab, landing an average of 9 out of 30 per round. Jacobs had a 144-126 edge in power shots landed.

And GGG is White. So I'm sure that counts as an extra 12 points for you. What's your saying??? If it ain't white it ain't right???

Then that would be ******, why would you base it just on power punches? GGG's jab was landing flush and knocking Jacobs head back constantly, of course those punches should count. GGG landed more in rounds 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,11,12. Based purely on total punches landed per round, Jacobs won round 7 and 10 (They landed an equal number of punches in round 6). Anyone who claims of Jacobs out-boxing GGG needs only look at the stats.

I don't look at stats. I watch the fight and let my eyes do the judging. how did you score the fight??? Did Jesus Christ Jr. WIN all 12 rounds on your card??? Or were you GENEROUS and gave Jacobs 1-2 rounds??? Because you CLEARLY had GGG winning by like 13, 14 maybe even 15 rounds all by 10-7 scores.

Ohh my bad you gave GGG rounds 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,11,12. Based purely on total punches landed per round. And Jacobs you gave rounds 7 and 10 with round 6 10/10 score.

So 9 rounds to 2 with 1 round a tie.

HOLY SHT!!! You SUK at scoring fights. Your WORSE than CJ. Ross. How blind are you???
