Comments Thread For: Golovkin: Canelo Says He's Ready, I've Been Waiting 2 Years

IBF, IBO, WBC, WBA middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) admits that he's losing patience with dragged out discussions to stage a fight with Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs). Canelo, following his big decision win over Miguel Cotto to capture the WBC middleweight title in November of 2015, said he was ready to face Golovkin. He reiterated the same statement after his knockout victory over Amir Khan in May 2016 and once again after his knockout of Liam Smith in September 2016.

The only question is who is the best middleweight? Is it Jacobs or Canelo?

We've been waiting longer for Golovkin to step up.

Wont be long until Oscar instructs his little Canelita Vagina to talk some trash. We all know Oscar desperately wants to keep GGG away from Saunders so they can get Canelo an easy belt at 160 and avoid GGG for another year or two.

The truth wold be: "Please please GGG dont fight Saunders, if you beat Saunders we might have to fight you if Canelo ever wants to become Champion again"

but officially he says "We want to fight you in September, a June fight vs Saunders is disrespectful" LOL

        Nobody believes you anymore.

Maybe they should fight each other! .. and the winner gets GGG.

Why would canelo fight Jacobs when he didn't want anything to do with Charlo

I'm still waiting to grow into a middleweight but am happy to skip that division for a non title fight at super middleweight. Canelita doesn't **** around so he says but there's more excuses coming.

If you've got a logical argument to show Jacobs won that fight, I'd love to hear it - there hasn't been a single one put together yet.
