If Katie Taylor was more "attractive" would she be a bigger star?

Ronda is obviously not an ugly woman but she's not this really hot chick. Her appeal has more to do with the fact that she's got that "it" factor.

no cause noone cares about womens boxing, its boring and they carry no power. women in mma get more interest because some of the perverts can enjoy watching them rolling around on the floor. thats the truth of it.

It's pretty much as simple as that. Ronda being a badass at the time was good, but her being attractive pushed her to superstardom.

She's on the same level as Rousey. It's a matter of marketing.

NO! I don't think how you look matters in Women Boxing ESPECIALLY if you can score KO's. I think Anne Wolfe would've been a bigger star in THIS ERA of Internet and Social Media compared to ERA post Laila Ali and Christy Martin leaving her win NO Competition

Holly Holm is pretty but not like crazy pretty and she gained popularity as soon as she crossed over to UFC and gained some wins and went undefeated.

                      It's the sport.

Katie Taylor is an attractive young girl imo. But she won't get that much attention because women's boxing sucks.

If she goes to UFC she would be popular. It's a more female-friendly sport than boxing. Promoters still haven't gotten around to pushing female boxers by putting them on televised undercards of big fights, in UFC women have already co-headlined and headlined PPV's.
