If Katie Taylor was more "attractive" would she be a bigger star?

Right now I feel like Katie Taylor is not gaining enough media attention than she really deserves even after everything she's accomplished. She's won numerous tournaments, championships and even a gold medal at the Olympics. But what if Katie Taylor had that "sex appeal". She could've brought new life to women's boxing the same way Ronda Rousey made people even care about women's MMA.

She would be on the cover of magazines, doing photo shoots, headlining her own fights, major brands would be fighting over her.

People are gonna say it's because nobody cares about women's boxing. Nobody cared about women's MMA before Ronday Rousey came along. Also I'm not saying Katie Taylor is ugly or anything like that but I also wouldn't do a double take if she walked pass me on the street.

    Am I right or wrong?

I would definitely invest in Kleenex boxes if she were more attractive.

She's about as attractive as Rounda.

Yea probably right TS. I mean Ronda isn't super hot or anything, but she's f#ckable. Although to be fair you can be ugly & draw in MMA cuz Cyborg has a fanbase. So I suspect she'd be more popular if she was sexy, but the thing is woman's boxing doesn't draw well in most areas & its just not as exciting as mens boxing to watch with all the decisions + the lack of enough elite level talent in any division to have a competitive landscape.

Katie Taylor is ridiculously popular in Ireland already, more so than any male boxer

Of course being attractive would be a bonus to anyone in the public eye

Possibly, but the main thing is that there is no significant platform and/or audience for women's boxing. That's a slow building process.
