Will 2017 be the end of the Eastern Eurographic

I'm sure you are all aware of the wide amount of hardcore supporters of the recently successful Eastern European fighters like Golovkin and Kovalev.

The Eastern Europgraphic are youtube channels like Thunderdomeboxing and Precise Presenter. You don't have to be Eastern European to be part of it but it's those who defend these guys with no shame and have clear double standards. There are also many people on various boxing forums who are part of the Eastern Europgraphic.

I think what we saw last saturday was the beginning of the end, the captain of Eastern Eurographic Golovkin nearly lost and by the end of 2017 probably will. Kovalev could clearly lose to Andre Ward this year... the demise would have been far earlier but they were willing to sacrifice Kovalev, this allowed Golovkin to stay undefeated for longer than if he fought Ward at 168.

Also they try to be clever, they will pretend to like past guys such as Mike Tyson and say 'see he is black but i'm a fan' but this is a disguise, they only say that because he is not longer a threat and during his time of fighting had no Eastern Euro rival. Don't fall for it.

Will they dissappear if these two lose clearly or will they hop on to the next generation e.g. Usyk, Beterbiev, Loma etc?

It's a dream they have lasted this long. They did well to steer Ward away from beating Golovkin to fight Kovalev instead.

I know Kovalev losing will hurt but it was worth the sacrifice for the main golden child, Golovkin.

Nah... They will always produce elite boxers... So not... Even if Kovalev, GGG, Loma etc. retire, someone else will come to replace them. That's what you call 'great amateur boxing school'...

Amateurs from that part of the world are just better..because of better coaching and programs. There are many greats that have never even turned pro. One time i checked on boxrec how many listed pros are from Kazakhstan. There was only like 60. Golovkin has paved the way for a lot of guys from his part of the world. Otherwise promoters wouldn't even be looking at them...finally more of these kids are turning pro.

In general, though, there is a lot of young talent in boxing right now from everywhere (except PR needs to get their act together).
