Malignaggi's just singing for his supper here. He needs those commentary jobs to keep coming in the UK.

Brook is no KO machine..if anything I see Brook putting on a smart performance ala Porter fight. I don't he'll shoot it out, if he does, I think Spence has a better onslaught

Yeah I watched it again and he was still wobbled. Could be a ***** in his armour that Brook can capitalise on. Brooks been wobbled too, but recovered during the same round.

He was unloading on Lartey in the 6th, and the timekeeper messed up and it was a 4 minute round, so when he kept unloading in the 7th he visibly punched himself out and ended up taking that shot.

As for his recovery, he was way up on the cards and the corner told him to stop taking chances in the 8th, so he went on the back foot in the 8th and his output reduced. Lartey jumped on it and opened up himself, and not sure Spence knew how to fight going backwards at the time. Plus he was gassed. Just think that was all part and parcel of the learning process.

Lartey was pretty good, and not sure when Brook first faced someone as good as Lartey, but guessing might have been Carson Jones (ie 26 or 27 fights in). Brook also struggled a bit in the first Carson Jones fight, but with both of them we are looking back at 2012/2013, and both have moved on quite a bit.

Anyway, I think the dominating factor will be Brook killing himself to make weight and being drained. Spence will take care of the rest.
The first Carson Jones fight Brook looked a million dollars for the first six, I think it was the weight that had him hanging on at the end. Contrasted with the rematch at 152, where he looked much better. He is very big for welter, and he better have a good lead by the late rounds or hes in trouble. He does have understated power though, because he likes to be precise it doesn't seem he's a puncher but I think he is. Brook early or Spence late maybe.

I bet he gets slaughtered just like Jacobs did against ggg.... oh wait. We don't know what spence is going to do because this is his FIRST opportunity to step up. But he does seem willingly and confident. And what is brook made of? We don't know because he hasn't really showed us. This will be a good measurement for both

going into Kovalev fight we questioned Ward's chin. he passed the test.

going into GGG we questioned Jacobs chin. he shocked everyone.

now we question the Spence chin..

this is a question all boxers have to answer at some point.
