Was the wobble against Larte one of those aberrations that happen on the way up? Or a sign he's packing glass? This really is the acid test. Great fight.

His recovery time is in question because he was still wobbled in the opening round of round 8 after Lartey hit him flush on the chin on the end of round 7, his chin is also in question.

Spence will probably be frustrated when the fight goes beyond round 3 and Kell brook is still not going down and keeps on catching him with 1-2's before finally knocking him out Mid to late rounds,

The same can be asked of, Brook. Spence, hits hard as hell and has a deadly body attack. I see Spence winning this fight?

impression i get is that spence believes the hype. hes got that idiot trainer pumping his ego, they were making algieri sound like some sort of killer bundu and algieri even if they were good fighters (which they arent) carry no power whatsoever. its easy landing flashy combinations against fighters who cant crack an egg. lets see how much he lets his hand go when hes got chocolate brownies coming back at him

I truly bet that Spence is packing glass. And Would get knocked out, if he approach brook the way he approach Bundu and Algerie.

I think so. It was only his 8th fight and an 8 rounder, and not sure Spence knew how to pace himself at the time. He was unloading on Lartey in the 6th, and the timekeeper messed up and it was a 4 minute round, so when he kept unloading in the 7th he visibly punched himself out and ended up taking that shot.

As for his recovery, he was way up on the cards and the corner told him to stop taking chances in the 8th, so he went on the back foot in the 8th and his output reduced. Lartey jumped on it and opened up himself, and not sure Spence knew how to fight going backwards at the time. Plus he was gassed. Just think that was all part and parcel of the learning process.

Lartey was pretty good, and not sure when Brook first faced someone as good as Lartey, but guessing might have been Carson Jones (ie 26 or 27 fights in). Brook also struggled a bit in the first Carson Jones fight, but with both of them we are looking back at 2012/2013, and both have moved on quite a bit.

Anyway, I think the dominating factor will be Brook killing himself to make weight and being drained. Spence will take care of the rest.
