GGG vs. Jacobs PPV numbers are out

Would be nice to include a source but I must say it's weird how certain posters just hate on GGG. If him & Danny achieved these numbers it's fantastic for the sport & it makes a Canelo bout much more lucrative.

My problem with GGG was competition. Jacobs unanimous 12 (even though I had Jacobs winning), Billy Joe or Canelo next. He can't do anything more. He's writing history & a segment of people seem to be writing hatred.

K2 must be the worst negotiators of all time because Brook earned more than GGG at the end of their fight. GGG got 5 Mill and Brook walked away with probably 6 Mill + since GGG didnt have any income from PPV and Brook got his % from his Sky contract.

Not all (Canadian market still missing) figures are there yet, but the fight drew at least 220k buys. Fight generated +14 mio on PPV revenues and 4.9 mio at the gate.

GGG walks away with 4.75 mio and Jacobs with 3.25 mio. The PPV did better than expected, therefore both guys split an additional 3.8 million 60/40.

Wow. That's not too shabby. A Canelo fight surely would do well.
