amir king khan. king at 140, 147, and would have been king at 154 if he fought there. moved up to middle and was shooling the champ before gettin caught but if not for the weight he wins easily. thats the definition of p4p

Plus, Kova, in addition to being a KO puncher, is an effective boxer. He doesn't need to KO somebody to win (see Hopkins & Ward).

      I decided I have Kova & Ward as 1a & 1b on the p4p list.
I was thinking that when he had Ward hurt he should have finished him. To me that moved him down in the PP list. It was the most important fight of his career. Right or wrong that was my thinking.
I went back on YouTube and watched the fight again after I posted initially. Someone shot the footage from inside the arena no announcers or replays. Ward didn't appear to be hurt as bad as I remembered. The official fight footage showed the knockdown several times. Must have effected my memory of the fight...

Good question. Wouldn't have thought so before the weekend but there's a good argument to be made for Lomachenko now.

Think I would lean towards Ward myself. But he needs to commit to that Kovalev rematch.
