I don't follow this reasoning. Ward has never put anyone away, including Kova. So he can never be p4p #1 bc he doesn't KO anybody?

Plus, Kova, in addition to being a KO puncher, is an effective boxer. He doesn't need to KO somebody to win (see Hopkins & Ward).

      I decided I have Kova & Ward as 1a & 1b on the p4p list.

How about Sor Rungvisai? To be the man, you have to beat the man and Sor Rungvisai beat the p4p #1 man

The man who has never lost, SOG Ward, clearly #1.

Don't know how people can put a guy that lost to Salido ahead of him lmao, I remember when Russell was nicknamed "TBA" on here, after Loma fought him he was suddenly a top fighter in the sport lmao

            GGG > Kovalev > Chocolatito > Pacquiao > Loma

            The top 5

Rest doesnt really qualify or matter.

I give it to Loma. The guy is a step above everyone in terms of skill and talent. His resume still needs some work, but his performances push him ahead of the rest. One of the best talents boxing has ever seen.

I have Ward at 2. The guy has a body of work. I had him losing to Kovalev, but to move up to fight him and make a case for a victory is pretty damn impressive.

Kovalev at 3. Also accumulating an impressive resume. I thought he deserved the nod against Ward, but I can't really justify putting him ahead all things considered. If he won cleanly I'd have him at 1 or 2.

I'll put GGG at 4. Not coming off his most impressive performance, but he did get the nod against a dangerous, hungry, legit middle who came in as a cruiserweight. His resume lacks big names, but a lot of good B fighters who he destroyed consistently.

Gonzalez at 5. In terms of talent and skills I have him only behind Loma. His loss was a close one and he finished strong, but the guy he lost to was not considered a real threat. Realistically he belongs ahead of GGG but the loss sets him back for now.

Canelo at 6. Canelo has a lot of good victories. In terms of resume I could see him higher. I just don't find him impressive at the highest level. I might be penalizing him for his embarrassing performance against Floyd. No shame in losing to Floyd, but he looked like a fool in the fight. He has had some really close fights with B+ guys like Lara and Trout.

I don't really care to sort the rest.

I just put Crawford at no.1 because he's the guy who hasn't either lost, got an (alleged) gift decision, or seemed really vulnerable lately.

I do think Lomachenko is the best in the world, but I cant call a guy who's fought 10 times and lost a fight the P4P king.

Ward, Kovalev, Chocolatito, GGG all have either lost or gotten (alleged) gift decisions in the past few months.

I've had Kovalev as number one since Pac's retirement after the bradley fight so he still remains as my number one.

I think RG won and did so well so no reason for me to change that. GGG stays in at 3.

                    Not really a mess tbh.

I think Chocalatito got robbed so if he was #1 prior to the fight, he deserves to be now. That said, he gets hit way too much for my liking, I think overall Lomachenko is the best fighter in the world P4P but it's too early for him to be placed there. It's gotta be Ward or Kovalev now I guess, I had Kovalev by 1 point in that fight and they're both elite fighters who fought each other.
