Danny did really well but he needed to step in more in those tight rounds. 3G marching forward all the time will tend to sway the judges in the close frames. I'd love to see 3G face a guy that's as come-forward as himself. Man, that would be a bloodbath.

Without the knockdown I agree, but Jacobs needs to go watch the fight and see how little he did over the first 5 rounds, he would do better in a rematch but he lost.

Well, now the question is golovkin even better than Jacobs? He should be off any respectable p4p list now, with his tormentor Andre "Son of God" Ward being the p4p king. Gonzalez got exposed too! Two of the biggest hype jobs in history, built careers by continually facing second tier opposition and worse. Oh well, the whole Golovkin is a beast and a killer and this and that is all put to rest now. A good fighter, definitely, but nothing special. Only thing special is a long list of opponents like Geale and Wade and Monroe. Still, no way was this ppv worthy. Just because G knocks out taxi driver after Uber driver year after year they want to charge the first time he's in with a decent opponent. Better fights are on network t.v. now.

G needs to just man up and sign to fight Canelo and quit ducking and dodging the man. I think he will now, because if not people are going to want a Jacobs rematch or a fight with Lara or Charlo and any more opponents like Wade and a welterweight are a joke. It got him on the p4p list and Jacobs took him off. G loses a rematch with Jacobs, loses to Charlo, loses to Lara, and loses to Canelo. Canelo might be his best chance out of any of them though and definitely the best payday so I would imagine he will quit his nonsense and go ahead and cash out.
