It's official - the majority of people here don't actually watch fights, they just comment on here. Either that, or they are watching them in some alternate dimension.
No, it was the former - people are ****ing idiots.Comment

I like Jacobs but he's been dropped by Sergio Mora, it's hard to let that fact slide, everyone considers Wlad chinny even tho he's only been dropped by power punchers, being dropped by Mora wouldn't even happen to KhanComment

No I don't, because I've said before, I don't care about that fight. I said that with triple asswipes fans hyping him up for beating nobodies for all but 1 fight he has those fans to thank, because it's going to make canelo look like the hero of the decade, even though his wins over better opposition and those with better resumes already exist.Last edited by Metho_4u; 03-21-2017, 06:34 AM.Comment

I really don't, no. It's not a big fight for me. I'm not a fan of either, thus the fight really is of no interest to me. All giftlovekin has done has sat around, fought 1 good fighter in his weight class, and all the rest were C level at best. I wasn't a fan of the khan fight and thought it was ******, though I'm sure paid well. Sure I'd like to see canelo fight Charlo, Andrade, etc, because those are fights that solidify his legacy, the same way giftlovekin has wasted his career fighting no hopers, and cab drivers, when he could've already fought DeGale, Jack, Ward, all fights that would've made him REAL p4p material. He's had no intention of doing so and has hidden behind the "I want all the belts" excuse. He spars with all these big guys is what sanchez brags about, yet won't move up 8 lbs? Even for just 1 fight to test the waters? It's BS. Canelo has the better resume, but he needs to step it up since the Lara, trout, and cotto fights. Beating chavez fatboy to me is just for the money. So, based on all of the above I'll say again... no, I don't give a **** about that fight.Comment

Because they are both at the top of 154, one now moving up, golovkin just struggled to eek out a decision with a guy who was an 8-1 underdog, thus most will imo consider them higher risk. There's no way either the 2 I mentioned would be that low...if anything canelo might be the underdog. Beating golovkin is beating a myth, people will look back and say "yeah, he beat him, but his resume was full of no named fighters, fighters Martinez had already knocked out, and the only time he stepped up to B level opposition, he arguably lost in an already extremely weak division." Alvarez would get the belts, but he would get them by beating an exposed boogeyman.Comment
