Anyone Hoping That Canelo Knocks Out GGG Now?

Now that he's been exposed as just an ordinary fighter that looked extraordinary due to beating a bunch of bums, is anyone hoping Canelo sparks him out and ends the hype train once and for all? Canelo has more longevity to him, and he already has a much longer and better resume than Golovkin does anyway, so who hopes that Canelo just goes ahead and puts this one on his resume as a big win and gets it over with? It would make beating Canelo all the more impressive in the future as well.

Imagine he KO's Golovkin and then speaks his first words of English in the post-fight interview: "I'm not surprised, motherfuckers."

''As long as Jacobs can take it (GGGs punches) he can dish it out.'' - Mayweather Jr.

''I know boxing. Nobody knows it better than me.'' - Mayweather Jr.

''Canelo beats GGG.'' - Mayweather Jr.

Floyd fought Alvarez at 152...there's something he's not insinuating with Alvarez at the full 160...

''Canelo is stronger, more powerful, more fresh.'' -Golovkin on Alvarez vs Chavez Jr. at a 164.5 catch.

Therefore what does it mean for Alvarez at 160 and a current contract still not signed?

The 20 year old that sparred with Golovkin in 2010 when GGG was 28..

Beating the #2 MW, a guy with a 97% win percentage and a KO% of 94%, by UD is now seen as exposed?

How on earth could anyone on this site give one shred of credibility to Floyd Mayweather jr considering he couldn't win any of his fights over the last 4 years of his career via KO? He just danced his way to suspect victories using illegal elbows, clinches and punches on the breaks.

Some people on here seem to give Floyd credit for that type of a victory yet GGG is washed up because he didn't KO a guy who outweighed him by 20 pounds?

Golovkin out boxes canelo and stops him. Jacobs being a giant next to gg along with his movement plus hi power that made him gunshy was the reason why. But canelo.doesn't have the power nor does he have the legs to get away from golovkin and does not have the range to out jab him.

            ... but why "now"???

... it's more than a year and a half since GGG became Canelo's mandatory...

Golovkin jumps his spear jab out, something stationary and something pouncing while the opponent is on backfoot. Canelo is strategic body puncher. Just like Ward on Kovalev, or Floyd vs others, attacking the body with spear jabs is a good way to set fighters off. Which opponents on GGG's resume are known as body punchers? Golovkin has never been in an assault with a massive body puncher, just like Alvarez has as well. This is the reason why everybody is waiting for the Chavez Jr. vs Alvarez fight.

Again, you seem to not watch Alvarez fights, but Alvarez is a jab extender, meaning he really stretches out his torso in blazing speed with jabs. What fighter in Golovkin's resume does that?

To say Canelo doesn't ''have the power'' is just trolling man. stop it. At least reserves your opinions until the Chavez Jr. fight. If he can stagger Chavez Jr. backwards while his guard is up, compare those body weights from Angulo to Chavez Jr. That's how you can tell if Alvarez power is consistent moving up.

Isn'T that the logical approach? I'm wiling to bet you had posts saying Jacobs wouldn't survive. How many flush shots did Jacobs receive from Golovkin, on the chin?

I don't understand why everyone is saying Golovkin KO's Canelo, he could even KO chinny Jacobs with over 200 punches landed

I picked GGG to no Jacobs under six but also predicted that jacobs would go the distance. And in the Miguel cotto fight he didn't extend torso but rather stay still on his own range within his reach because of his cautious approach from miguels left hook. A weapon ggg has all too well. Canelo also has trouble fighting fighters that has a power jab and has to resort extending unnecessary too much that would leave himself open. Canelo may have a jab and would move his upper body also for the sake o keeping one at bay. But you also missed one crucial part. His over extension to commit with a jab that is vulnerable to counters. And also Canelo doesn't have the height that jacobs has to lean away from ggg when ggg will be throwing.

Him knocking out Chavez is to gauge his power but. Not the gauge. To measure his ability to react to counters.

GGG just beat second best 160 guy. Time for nelo to beat euban k.
Eubank could be the 5th best or 12th best middleweight depending on who you talk to
