Once you do that it's easy to quit again.

Canelo is going to light him up but chavez is a big boy so it either goes 12 and he takes an epic beating on some Margarito/pacman status or he quit after abuse and his corner throws in the towel.
I agree. Chavez best chance is to lean on Canelo all night but that could also be his demise. Im not a Canelo fan but 1 thing that the man has is God given quick reflexes. As soon as Chavez leans in, hes going to get hit with good counter uppercuts.

Here's the thing, Valdez doesn't actually believe Chavez Jr. is going to win the fight, and I don't believe Erislandy Lara and all the other fighters who picked him to beat Canelo actually think he's going to win.

I mean how could they? Chavez Jr. hasn't fought below 168 lbs since 2012. His recent performances have been garbage to say the least. I don't deny that he can make the weight of 164.5, the question is how will he perform at that weight? I think based on his history we can pretty much see where this fight is going.

This is more of a representation of how they view Canelo. They don't respect him and I can't blame them lol.

People would have to consider you to be a total fraud if they pick Chavez Jr. to beat you.

You give Jr. too much credit. He is semi skilled, but he has a lot of experience beating bigger men than Canelo. The catchweight is to drain Jr. and help Canelo. Canelo knows he can't beat Jr without an edge. Jr. needs to put the splib down and quit hitting the fridge.

Chavez does not have either high-level or high-speed technology. Even the puncher can not be named. Well, there's nothing for him to beat Alvarez! Just nothing.
