A focused and motivated Chavez Jr against a smaller man will always be dangerous.

Anyway, best of luck to Valdez. Marriaga is no pushover but I'm confident in Oscar being the real deal. I can't wait, this one should produce fireworks as well.

It's all about how Nacho works Jr. and Nacho is a Pro. If Jr. makes weight, with no ill effects, Canelo is made to order. Jr. is deadly with little guys.

I think canelo will make it to the final bell and earn a tough but well deserved decision

All I took from that is Valdez is friends with chavez. Nothing strategic or boxing related why he thinks he wins. Canelo wins because he literally does everything better then chavez. His only advantage is he will be bigger. But skill wise Canelo faster, sharper, better combos, better body puncher, better defense, has more heart chavez already quit once on his stool. Once you do that it's easy to quit again.

Canelo is going to light him up but chavez is a big boy so it either goes 12 and he takes an epic beating on some Margarito/pacman status or he quit after abuse and his corner throws in the towel.

I hope they are training ways to thrown in the towel in Chavez Jr.'s corner.
