at 35 years old an 8-1 underdog who GGG fans clowned as "chinny" was his best opponent.

Monroe is a bigger name than Lara
Froch and Chavez at 168 but not Ward.
stay away from senile Hopkins who could've outboxed him.

    it all makes sense.

he knocking heavyweights out in sparring doe.

Why is Sanchez saying that Gennady would vacate after a win vs Saunders. Wouldn't he want to defend the 4 belts vs Canelo or whoever?
They have always said they just want all the belts...and then would move up

Abel has had this same mindset likely his entire career. I remember reading this same type thing coming from him when his fighter Terry Norris started to slide, and even as early as his KO loss to Julian Jackson. Obviously we won't hear him saying anything negative to the press about GGG, but you can bet he's seeing the guy's career ready to crash and burn. He's been a trainer for decades. He knows what's really up.

NO one still believes GGG would of beat Ward or prime Hopkins.

Of course, lil gift has fought bums his whole career, Jacobs was actually a natural MW unlike many of gift's opponent's.

People don't realize when you fight quality opposition, it's much harder to get knockouts. A guy like Ward's KO % would be around 20-30% higher if he hadn't fought such great fighters throughout his career.

lmao. Ward will be easier than Jacobs. Jacobs has power and reach to keep GGG hesitant and cautious.

Against Ward GGG will be coming to seek and destroy from round 1.

Mark my words, if this fight ever happens, GGG will beat Ward easier than he beat Jacobs.

Jacobs is the best opponent that Golovkin has faced. I was actually impressed with some of Golovkin's defense. I wouldn't say he has slipped at all. Jacobs is just a big, strong, quality opponent.
