      my bottom line:

I admit that Golovkin is one of the best middleweights

I admit that he should be favored over Saunders

I HIGHLY favor Canelo over Golovkin, no question..... when Canelo fights Golovkin, he will beat him..... mark my words

I think that Jacobs is a better all-around fighter than Golovkin, and would therefore make the better adjustments in a rematch..... he would be much more confident and would not show Golovkin the same level of respect, especially early, and he will be able to nail down a more effective gameplan..... so I slightly favor him over Golovkin as well

so yea, I rank Golovkin 3rd

you guys who think that Golovkin can simply move on, are tripping..... because he got Danny Jacobs problems

      this is why.....

      1) you can forget using that word "undisputed", because that cool-story-bro just got thrown under a bus..... Jacobs most definitely disputes that claim, with damn good reason

      2) you can forget about referring to Golovkin as "the top middleweight"..... because that cool-story-bro just got thrown under a bus as well

      3) and you can forget about using the "no controversy" excuse when attempting to justify Golovkin's fake record for WBA defences..... because not only did he defend an illegitimate title for 11 fights, it is debatable whether he even beat Danny Jacobs

fine then, let's leave it there..... no rematch required

but if Golovkin refuses to rematch Jacobs, then he has achieved absolutely NOTHING during his long SLOOOOW career..... because his goal was to unify 160 and establish himself as the top middleweight..... and that will not happen until he gets a definitive win over Danny Jacobs

Jacobs fights once per year so no rematch till 2018 unless he wants to take on the June date in Kazakhstan LMAO

You won't give GGG any credit if he beats Canelo.

I'm no big shot in the boxing biz, but even I can see he wants a soft touch in BJS as his next fight since he was schooled last night. He's always been easy to hit (And no, that isn't on purpose. He just can't avoid punches as well as he'd like), and last night he was hit a bunch. More than any fight previous. And had to go 12 in a very tight fight.

You mean youse guyz don't see he wants an easy fight next, even though in the past 5 years he's had several easy ones?

He's a good mover, got good southpaw counter lefts and is better than he looked in his last fight. Consistently Golovkin said he wants to unify. Besides, if you think Jacobs getting hit in the face with the jab all night and getting knocked down is schooling someone you need to watch some Pernell. Jacobs did well but he didn't do enough.
So, GGG doesn't get hit a fair amount? Sure he slips and moves well, so does BJS, but both get tagged a good bit. There are ways to rarely get hit, and GGG does well with defense, but he could be much better. Brook tagged the he!! out of him, and Danny had some success as well, though not as much as Brook. Danny should've done more southpaw fighting. But GGG fighting BJS next is a soft touch if for no other reason than his style. GGG's strong points in offence will negate a lot of what BJS will be trying to accomplish.

Grasping at straws man...i'm sorry but how many boxers get knocked down being off balance in this sport per year? The discrediting of Jacobs as a fighter is insane man, it's like people want to convince everyone that Golovkin just went life or death with a bum when Danny Jacobs is not a bum by any stretch.

He doesn't get hot half as much as people think. Kell Brook is a very accurate, precise puncher, it's what he's known for, and why he makes guys like Carl Froch look silly in sparring. The smaller skilful guys are harder to catch and catch you more often even in sparring, until your power catches up to then later. Golovkin isn't getting any younger, he's slipped abit, and Danny did well. It was competitive, not a robbery by any means. Saunders is going to cause a lot of problems for Golovkin. Power or not, he's slick with a good chin. I expect a decent fight that goes the distance. And then more of these fools calling fighters hype jobs.

A top 5 fighter getting dropped by an opponent with a sub 30% KO ratio is so rare in boxing that it doesn't even happen at HW. This even occurred with Lemieux vs Rios.

DJ was an 8-1 underdog for a reason. He wasn't some world beater by any means and his resume reflects that, Mora is a blown up JMW and he's his 2nd best W. He didn't even have to go through the guy that originally destroyed him because he's no longer boxing.
