Coward no one cares about that bum Saunders rematch Jacobs. People already feel you lost. If not Jacobs needs to go directly into canelo fight. Any other fight including Saunders proves you ducking and a coward. A Saunders fight will be viewed as you pulling a salka.

What percent of fans who went to that fight or bought the ppv last night ever seen Saunders fight? Nobody left that fight saying damn can't wait to see him fight that Saunders guy. Everyone said damn ggg lost or that was close we need a rematch or we need that fight with superstar canelo. Saunders shouldn't even be in the picture GGG has 8 figure offer on the table for canelo and a controversial fight where many feel Jacobs already beat him. Fighting Saunders will turn fans off just like Garcia not choosing Floyd and not rematching Herrera and cherry picking salka.

That's true. Canelo won't be fighting Golovkin till at least Sept and Jacobs is one of those guys who need at least 9/10 months to prepare for a fight. Why he needs so long, I don't know for sure, but I have my ideas about it.

I'm no big shot in the boxing biz, but even I can see he wants a soft touch in BJS as his next fight since he was schooled last night. He's always been easy to hit (And no, that isn't on purpose. He just can't avoid punches as well as he'd like), and last night he was hit a bunch. More than any fight previous. And had to go 12 in a very tight fight.

This is the problem. I actually box, and I know that if Golovkin got hit half as much as people think he does he'd be marked up and knocked down. There's a reason Jacobs had less accuracy and that's because Golovkin catches and deflects shots well.Its lost on his haters of course. Saunders isn't as easy as uniformed people think. He's a good mover, got good southpaw counter lefts and is better than he looked in his last fight. Consistently Golovkin said he wants to unify. Besides, if you think Jacobs getting hit in the face with the jab all night and getting knocked down is schooling someone you need to watch some Pernell. Jacobs did well but he didn't do enough.

Will this guy ever make up his mind and become credible? AFAIK "his dream fight" at different points in time, has been Chavez Jr., then Canelo, then Floyd just about a couple of weeks ago, and now it is Saunders??? Well, who cares really, he didn't look so good vs. Jacobs anyways. He looks and is very beatable now. Too slow (WAY TOO SLOW), and his punches don't have the "pop" they used to have. He has a granite incredible chin, that's for sure, but no chin lasts forever. I think at this point even Canelo can beat him up, GGG is just too slow, even though he still looks like the harder and more accurate puncher of the two. But Canelo is at least twice as fast as him and can punch him like he has never been punched before.

If you have ever posted that Ward owes Kovelev a rematch, then you should have the same attitude about ggg-jacobs. If kovelev deserves an immediate rematch, so does Jacobs.

Lol. Kovalev was champion and had a rematch clause. GGG should get to Jacobs when he's finished with his other goals.

Golovkin should absolutely rematch Jacobs. Danny deserves it and most of what you said is 100 percent true. Only thing is that it shouldn't take priority over a Saunders or Canelo fight. The chance to have an undisputed champion (I dont think there is one in any weight class) is too big of a deal. And the Canelo fight is obviously big business and likely a very entertaining fight as well.
A Jacobs Golovkin rematch will still be there later

I'm from a different era of fight fan homie. And in that era, belt collecting isn't that big a deal. I'm from the school of; the belt don't make the champion, the champion makes the belt.

I say that to say Saunders should be no better than the third option for GGG right now. Canelo is the money fight and a no brainer. But if he doesn't get Canelo, Jacobs is the most meaningful fight out there for GGG. And in terms of boxing and legacy, Jacobs is arguably a more important fight than Canelo. After the initial, "anybody from 154-168" rhetoric. GGG's entire run has been centered around the theme of divisional dominance. And for the first time in a long time, GGG's claim of best middleweight in the world is in question. That my friend is a lot more meaningful than beating some C class paper trinket holder from across the pond.

Now that GGG has beaten the elite at 160 like everyone thought he wouldn't he should go after that WBO crown. Also Jacobs can f***ing fight, I always said that, he is a beast at 160and looked much bigger than GGG. Let's get this division unified then talk about rematches.
