More Controversial: GGG/Jacobs or Canelo/Lara

Only GGG haters think last night was controversial. Golovkin threw more, landed more, had a higher connect rate, did more damage and got a KD. What did Jacobs do to warrant so much crying around here?

Canelo Lara is probably more difficult to score, you have to weigh in Lara's potshots with Canelo's bodyshots which normally don't get the same love. Jacobs Golovkin was easy to score barring one rd.

Not even close you saw nothing like what is going on to GGG after the Lara fight. Lara ran from canelo got booed all night and fans were disgusted no one wanted to see it again. Lara rep was hurt. No demand for a rematch because lara stank up the joint. Here the backlash is on GGG and everyone is praising Jacobs. The fact Jacobs increased his value in the loss and Lara didn't says it all.

People are praising Jacobs cause he lasted 12 rounds when everyone expected him to get knocked out.

Running around scared and hugging when you're taller, heavier, faster and have longer reach is not something that should be rewarded.

Like PBP said, the awful scorecard which gifted Alvarez the win certainly makes it more controversial. That's without even talking about the actual fights.
