Unbelievable you azzhatt little GGGaholics and your lack of respect. The man just did what no other fighter has done vs GGG, AND traded a bunch of leather with this supposed Mr Boogeyman. What feking planet do you eediotts live on anyway? Yur an us?Hahaha so you outlanded/outthrew GGG? Yeah right that's not what the punch stats show? And where was your power mr. 90% ko ratio with 12 kos in a row and a 20lbs weight advantage over GGG on the night? GGG didn't blink twice and walked through your weak ass punches all night which is why he kept coming forward and left the arena with skin good enough for a commercial. Meanwhile you wore shades in the post match conference to cover up two black eyes! Also don't forget you ended up on your ass in round 3 and did the chicken dance a few times so yeah his power's for real. AND STILL undefeated...let that sink in homegirl!Comment

The GGGaholics can't see, hear or think so well with their head up their back doors 24/7365. All they know is blind allegiance to their cult leader. And that includes not being able to man up and admit their idol was schooled in the past 2 fights. Wait til the goofball gets in there with Canelo. The drug stores will be cashing in on that one... selling the heavy meds like they're going outta style. And the uncontrollable sobbing. It's coming.Comment

I've seen way more Jacobs fans crying. Crying robbery despite him being dropped and outlanded 9/12 rounds. Now that's crying.Yeah okay. Personally, I had Jacobs winning (by one point), but it was extremely close and could've gone either way. I'm not mad at the decision, it was that close; I'm just saying what I see. GGG fans are being extremely defensive because they know what they saw and know GGG was lucky to get the decision. Quit crying.Comment

You're right. "Crying" isn't the right way to put it - that would indicate childishness. Its more like GGG fans are acting like insecure teenage girls - catty, *****y, or whatever you want to call it.Comment

It was a close tough fight and I thought that Jacobs edged it. I am fine with GGG getting the decision because there were a few close rounds that could had gone either way.
On the flip side it shows the ignorance of the hardcore GGG fans in their posts. It is like Pac-tards all over againComment

OH did GGG got Exposed everybody said Jacobs would get KO in 3 I knew my boy DJ would give him his toughest fight of his career Jacobs is really underated 8 to 1 underdog that was disrespectful Boxing is very unpredictable Jacobs status Just Sky Rocket I thought the fight was a draw great night of boxingNEW YORK Daniel Jacobs began believing the hype about Gennady Golovkin's power prior to their fight Saturday night. "The way you guys made it seem," Jacobs said early Sunday morning, "it was just like, Man, this guy is really the boogey man. Can he really knock out guys with one shot?' "

I remember when Cotto was the lineal middleweight champion that the media outright disrespected his achievement in articles by consistently adding "although many regard GGG as the BEST middleweight in the world" every time they mentioned his status.
What now?
GGG just had his first fight on that higher level, and his "status" as the best has already been proven not to be a certainty. It was utterly disrespectful to have done that to Cotto without true proof of superiority.
People, including the media, kept talking about judging GGG based off the eye-test; that was hype. I have eyes of my own, and I said it from the first time I saw GGG that, while having great punching technique, he wasn't the monster people were making him out to be. In all honesty, I don't believe for a second his legacy will even come close to matching Cotto's, which just shows how fickle fans are in having disrespected a true boxing legend.
These hype trains should stop; fighters need to prove who they truly are in the ring before people place them above others. It doesn't work that way.
Anyone can look great fighting against low-level opposition; even here in PR, look at Felix Verdejo. Everyone thought he'd be the next great champ based off his domination of low-level opponents, but once the competition edged ever so slightly upwards, he's been one punch away from defeat since.
I suspect the same will happen to GGG now. He's not chinny, of course, but if they continue matching him up with good opposition, his vulnerabilities will be exposed.
yep, and I remember when the fans did that as well
they bashed Cotto, because they needed GGG to be great
oh, and.....
they bashed Mayweather because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Ward because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Lara because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Martinez because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Froch because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Canelo because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Saunders because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Jacobs because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Hopkins because they needed GGG to be great
they bashed Hagler because they needed GGG to be great
and..... they did all that exact same shht with Pacquiao
I am really glad all of that rubbish is over
no, wait.....Comment

I would actually rate Golovkin #4 at middleweight
Canelo is better than Golovkin, and we all saw what happened with Jacobs..... and I have a sneaky su****ion that Saunders sneaky southpaw style, movement, and defense, would give Golovkin fits
I have Golovkin at #4, in-between Saunders and Eubank
and P4P?..... pffffffff
where is Jacobs ranked P4P ?
