Canelo handspeed will be too much for son of GGGift. nobody throws combos like Canelo. and lets be honest GGG got outboxed by a guy who's not even known as a slick fighter.

Canelo will b right thr hit BC of his slow feet...Ggg will b bigger fighter and control Canelo with his jab...easy work. That's why u hear excuses like " I am not a MW...I need to build my body up to 160 b4 I fight GGG " classic now that he is fighting JC at 164

That HOF point is an interesting issue. I sat today and thought, "how great is Danny Jacobs?" And that answer is simply, not so great/legendary. Not much pedigree in the patheon of boxers.

So then I thought, "Where would he fall on the resume of a guy like Manny or Floyd?" And I think the answer is he wouldn't be a top 10 (maybe even 15) win for either.

But it was clear last night that he and GGG were very similarly matched (I thought Jacobs outboxed him after expecting an early GGG win). And yet this is by far GGG's best "win".

Moral of the story: Don't believe the hype! Gotta let these guys prove it in the ring.

Jacobs is a great boxer and can give good run for all mw out there. GGG is just BETTER beating a 20 lbs heavier skilled boxer, GgG is better, no matter how you spin this, people were saying Jacobs is a real test for GGG, and i say him knocking him down and winnning the fight he PASSED it and should shut all the doubters now.
