You were watching a different fight lolI had Jacobs winning the fight quite comfortably.
i had it 8-4 possibly 7-5 for the Miracle Man
115-112 or 114-113
jacobs skipped the ibf weigh-in and still ONLY weighed 10lbs more than golovkin. if a rematch happens i think Jacobs wins far more decisively knowing he can outbox ggg i think he will put ggg on the backfoot more and pressure him.
ggg did NOT win over 5 rounds of this contest.Comment

First off Danny lost the fight so he can't Win more decisively. Secondly Golovkin won't fight the same way again. He won't abandon his jab and he will punch more to the body. That's not to say Jacobs can't win a rematch but he lost on points already. I give GGG more credit for winning by decision than by a KO.I had Jacobs winning the fight quite comfortably.

I agree he did not get hurt but they showed that the feet clearly DID NOT get tangled after the round.

You're stretching things to say he cheated. Particularly since he broke no rules. Call it poor sportsmanship, but not cheating. It was a non issue to the Golovkin team.Comment

Totally agree, the usual s*** from fighters like Jacobs, talking s*** after the fight and GGG ever humble and respectful. Time to move on, maybe a rematch down the track. It was a close fight yes, but controversial, no and Jacobs got knocked down!No need for a rematch. Keep it moving. It wasnt a split decision and not even a majority decision. Close fights happen. Close games happen in sports. Thats the beauty of sport the competitiveness. A great fight should be close. Not every close fight needs a rematch. Much respect to jacobs, he took his size and weight advantage and still came up short. But he has heart. But lost respect for him during the interview after the fight. GGG is at least humble and always respectful.Comment

This whole second day weigh in snark is starting to reach full conspiracy level. Now you have boxing journalists turning into full on internet trolls because of there favoritism syndrome. Second day weigh ins are not even a legitimate part of the sport. One sanctioning body decided to implement as a rule and people are acting like if a fighter doesn't participate that its a calculated ploy to gain an advantage. This is some of the fakest shet that I've ever witnessed in this corrupt asz sport with openly corrupt and biased journalists. So that says a lot. No fighter has ever had to do a mandatory weigh in since well before most of us were born. But now since darling Golovkin is involved Jacobs is being framed to be a cheater because he fought so well. Give the man his credit if he did a good job. Don't try minimize his good work with bullshet caveats because you're so in love with his opponent. Sheesh...Comment

Andre Ward is being a two division world champion that is done being treated like a scrub. More power to him. He has the perfect mentality of a fighter. He will not concede anything to Kovalev, Kathy Duva or HBO. And I commend him for it. Carl Froch wouldn't do a rematch unless it was Nottingham. And the media sided with Carl Froch. He tried to get out of his contract with Goosen when Goosen reneged on his deal with Antonio Leonard and James Prince and the media and HBO sided with Dan Goosen. He tried to get a fight with Gennady Golovkin. Golovkin straight up ducked. The media looked the other way and HBO leveraged him into moving up weight to fight their killer Kovalev. He won a close fight and was straight up attacked by certain prominent media figures like Doug Fischer and Steve Kim. Fischer went on a straight personal attack campaign. You can call him a coward and diva all day but I doubt you have the intestinal fortitude to walk a country mile in his shoes. So I wouldn't hold my breath if you expect Andre Ward to come back to the table before he gets what he feels he deserves after all of the favoritism and media ***boyisms he's had to deal with in his career.Comment
